Very nice boutique hotel, quite close to everything. Staff were helpful and the continental breakfast was good. Lovely dining room with painted ceilings. Mirror top tables so you can admire the ceiling whilst having breakfast. Was able to leave our luggage at the hotel on check out to wander the city. We would book here again.

Initially the hotel was difficult to find. There is a small opening in a larger door, directly opposite the KFC. Took us a while to find it. The hot breakfast was not great. The fried eggs were dried out and most of the 'hot' items were cold. We stuck to the large continental selection.

The staff were amazing, in particular Ester who is a real gem with great attention to details. I was particularly impressed when there was an issue with the shower and I forgot to report it but they found it on their daily inspection whilst cleaning the bathroom and it was fixed the very same day. Mauritius, the other gentleman at the front desk was also exceedingly helpful on our check-in and helping to arrange a car for us from the train station to the hotel.

I didn't not like anything... Naples itself as a city was a little of a let down, glad we took day trips to several places as staying all the time within the city would not have been fun. It's a little run-down as a city.

This was our first time in Naples and the last leg of our trip from the Almafi Coast. We stayed in Naples for three days. I did a little research before deciding on a hotel. The Relais Della Porte hotel had great reviews. It was in a safe area close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel had great history and was very cozy and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. They emailed me before we arrived to ask if we wanted anything special before we arrived. When we got to the hotel, they offered us water and chilled prosecco which we totally needed! They booked a trip for us to the airport. Again very friendly and so helpful!

The hotel wasn't the cheapest but it was in a safe area and the hotel staff made the bit extra we paid totally worth it!

Great location, new amenities but retains charm and originality of when this used to be Giambattista della Portia’s residence (ceiling murals and beautiful wood trim). Enormous room and bed, vaulted ceiling, very nice, modern and clean bathroom. Phenomenal daily breakfast with lots of sweet and savory options. Staff was super helpful. Provided great restaurant recommendations. Arranged to take us to the airport for free because they were unable to pick us up from the train station when we arrived (though that was our fault for making last minute travel plans on the train).

Arriving at night, it wasn’t clear to us where we should enter the hotel. Google Maps indicated a back alley, which clearly wasn’t correct. As it turns out, the entrance was on the Main Street and we had to buzz from outside for them to let us in. Once checked in, we were provided a code to be able to enter on our own in the future. Elevator up is tiny. Not a big issue if not carrying bags/luggage as one can simply walk the three flights of stairs up to the hotel. Bed/mattress, although spacious, seemed to sag a bit inwards on either side, but not a huge issue.

Me and my parents can't tell you how much we appreciated your kindness hospitality stay at your hotel. your hotel service has excellent quality, my father is disabled with a wheelchair that requires comfortable and appropriate facilities, as well as the service and constant concern for our comfort. Thank you especially for being aware of our requirements. Special thanks to the best team: Ester, Francesco, Maurizio, and Augusto the driver! that made our stay a good time, comforting and secure. We are sure that when we return to your city, we will go back to your hotel. Thanks again for your warm hospitality.

High ceilings, quiet and brilliantly accommodating staff. Simply great breakfast.

The staff was great. The character in the property was nice and breakfast was solid. The pictures are better than in-person though. The internet was terrible and basically unusable. The staff tried to accommodate us since we depended on wifi. It was located close to the Spanish corner and many restaurants/shops. The welcome champagne was very nice! I'd say the hotel was like Naples... Just missed the mark overall.

Their Wi-Fi dropped non stop from our room so they moved us to a better room and we realized their internet was bad everywhere. The original room we were given was not at all like most of the photos you see on the site. The upgraded room, due to bad wifi, was more like what you see.

Location was really great. Near the old town and an easy stroll to the sea. Staff really friendly and room excellent with huge TV with Netflix etc and unbelievable breakfast. Staff were brilliant at helping us understand where to go and booking shows before we got to the city.

Difficult to point out any flaws. Getting into it was more like an air B&B having to find the door and lift. On the other hand it’s a beautiful local mansion house with quirky lift so great fun and sense of really experiencing a very local Nepali residence. It was our first time in Naples and were amazed at how lived in and vibrant the city centre is. You just don’t get that feel in cities any more and loved how this hotel’s location really connected us with that. Would need and love to have a full month exploring the city.

This is an outstanding place to stay in Naples. The staff are absolutely fantastic and friendly and will go out of their way to assist you and make you feel at home and comfortable. The rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing and the setting is elegant.

This is not a conventional hotel, so getting luggage in and out is a bit of a process as you must walk through a courtyard and use an elevator to reach reception. It's not a huge issue, but it is definitely a bit more involved than simply walking from the street to a ground-floor reception desk. The courtyard itself is not very attractive, so it doesn't seem as if you will beare entering an upscaele hotel.
