Most everything. Great location. Room was large clean and comfortable. Rosi was great at the B&B to help and guide and suggest the most amazing places to go. Carlotta was also so helpful on what’sapp with directions to get there, parking and ANY help over the few days. Also where to go and what to see. Breakfast and pastries were fantastico. I could leave my bags for the day after I checked out. Nothing was too much trouble. We just had the most amazing few days and we would not have got so much out of Palermo and the whole experience if it wasn’t for such loverly hosts. Grazie Millie Rosi and Carlotta. Thoroughly recommend.

I have to say that the traffic and parking is horrendous. So stay calm. You will eventually find parking in a ‘blue zone’ (free parking in the street). Not a fault of the property but just wanted to mention so as to help others.

Very clean and lovely apartment. The host is a very warm and welcoming family. They seem to be doing their best to accommodate everyone comfortably. They know around the town well and are able to recommend on parking and travel which could save on time on money.

There's a bit of noise coming from cars in the morning but the whole town is noisy in general. I'd recommend visitors to close the windows shutters before sleeping and it should be fine.

Breakfast might offer more fruit and fresh products. Nice and large bathroom. Uncomfortable bed, mattress bent inwards. Rock hard pillows. Good air conditioning. It was hard to fall asleep as there was a lot of noise from the street every day. When it comes to bringing luggage, you have to go up the stairs to the second floor, because the elevator is too small and can barely accommodate one person with a suitcase. When you come back to your apartment late in the evening there is no light in the hallway, so be careful and use a flashlight. Not conveniently located, far from the apartment everywhere. Nice owners, however they don't speak English at all, literally everything has to be translated by a translator. The nearby Sikulo restaurant serves excellent pizza.

Lovely and helpful owners, good breakfast, in a walking distance to the city centre. Good working aircon which we really enjoyed during the hot nights. Great value. Would stay again.

The only thing we realised only after we left is we booked a quadruple room listed as 1 double bed and 2 single beds while the room had 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed which was rather on the smaller size and the 2 teenagers sharing it would prefer the two single beds as stated in the booking. It's okay for kids but I cannot imagine two adults sharing, so maybe take that into consideration when looking for a room for 4 people.

Our stage at Casa Jolanda was absolutely wonderful. Signore and Signora who hosted us were the highlight of our stay. They do not speak much English but took the trouble to translate on Google and communicate with us. And its a different charm to just listed to them speak in Italian and try and figure out what we are talking about! The bathroom was shared (as advertised) but spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The room we stayed in was beautifully maintained, comfortable, and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The WiFi was good too. Breakfast was a grand affair, with a lot of tasty choices for both savoury and sweet palettes (more for sweets, but that suited me very well). There was fresh cappuccino or espresso which the hosts would prepare for us, fresh juice, toast eggs and yoghurt, fruit, sandwiches, and an array of Sicilian and continental sweet treats - think croissants with ricotta filling, chocolate cake, petite danish pastries and viennoiseries, and this orange cake with orange zest which was my favourite. The decor of the dining room made breakfast and idyllic and enjoyable affair, with the jars of cookies dotted around on the table as perfect additions for dunking into the fresh Italian coffee provided. The property is quite close to Palermo's Politeama Liberta (the modern, fancier high street). It is a 24-ish minute walk from Palermo's historic city centre (the walk is easy and quite safe, even late at night). It is a 3 minute walk from Palermo Lolli underground/train stop and is a quiet, residential area which felt welcoming and safe. If you are lucky enough to meet Bambino, the very cute and friendly cat who seems to stay on the same road as Casa Jolanda, your holiday will be made. I will definitely return to Casa Jolanda for future visits to Palermo and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The hosts' warmth and welcoming nature makes it a memorable experience.

Very pleasant stay in Palermo! The hosts were fantastic and fresh breakfast in the morning was delicious :) Its about 20 min walk to the centre and 10 min to the bus stop from where you catch the bus to go to the beach. Considering the bathroom was shared, the cleanliness levels were exceptional. The only downside is that whilst in the room, you can hear everyone in the corridor due to echo. Luckily there were no late or load guest but if you're a sensitive sleeper, might not be ideal.

We loved our room and the hospitality of the owners. Bathroom was external, but private and with the necessary privacy. Our room and bathroom were super clean. The breakfast was amazing, with fresh pastry and even home made cake. The owners were super friendly and provided us with tips and tricks to discover Palermo. We loved our stay.

The room was a bit noisy in the morning and evening, because it was at the street side, but if you experience the traffic of Palermo, you’ll understand why it’s inevitable. During the night, it was quit and we slept very well.

The location Is plus and also minus. You are like 10 minutes from city center, but the surrounding of B&B isn't very nice. But i don't think it's a big deal. The hosts are super friendly. They don't speak english, but it's not problem. Google translator help us talk with each other without difficulty. Also the breakfast Is tasty. The price is reasonable.

Location. B&B is near the city centre, but the location Is not very nice - poops on the street And trash. Be careful where you step. Bathroom is outside the room.

I loved the fact that we stayed in a typical italian building close to the city center (10 minutes walk to Teatro Massimo). Everything was clean and the room was equipped good. The hosts were amazing and made us feel so comfortable. They prepared the breakfast everyday, the food was divine (fresh baked cookies everyday and other good stuff, they brought us to try fresh bread with olive oil from this year one morning) and the coffee was sooo good. The host were so kind and helped us with every problem that we had even though they don't speak english. Also their daughter, Carlotta, speaks english and helped us with visiting suggestions and restaurant recommendation, we talked by Whatsapp, she is so lovely and she replied immediately to our messages. We loved the experience and we'll definitely come back.❤️

Perfectly polite and helpful hosts, clean and stylish furnished rooms, delicious breakfast (slaty and sweet too), close to the city centre.

Be careful with opening windows with light on in the room, becouse of some attacking moskitos :D Apart from that, everything was really perfect, we highly recommend it!
