Hotel Ai Dogi

We stopped for one night in the hotel, as we were travelling. We prefer to spend the night here whenever we are driving to and from our home country. We arrived around 16:00 at the hotel and we parked our car in the hotel private parking. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. She had us choose which room we like best. The room was spacious and clean, comfy beds and clean bathroom. The breakfast was also very good and tasty.

It might get noisy because it's close to the church, but we weren't bothered by the bells.

This stay was our comeback. Several years ago, we stayed in this hotel, and we were so satisfied. The lady who runs the hotel is so kind. She takes care about every detail. Provide me with the parking address via e-mail, to arrive easier. Provide us with a kettle that we can enjoy our Turkish coffee in the morning in the room. In the morning you can feel the smell of fresh pastries they are making inhouse. There is no so many choices but everything is so delicious, and you are feeling so homy.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming – they care a lot about the hotel. There was a good selection at breakfast and a friendly waitress. Easy free parking in a lot nearby.

The church bells (next door) at 7 am were shockingly loud. We had the window open because the air conditioner did not smell good. However, the staff assured us that the air conditioning units are cleaned twice a month. The room was quite simple but functional. The bathrooms, though recently renovated, appear a bit outdated and the shower (perhaps difficult to clean) was not very appealing. I found the value for the money to be not ideal.

Ai Dogi is located right in the center square of beautiful town. As the square is for pedestrians only is very (very) quiet and comfortable for either morning or evening walk. The town itself is right off the Udine-Venezia Autostradale providing perfect stop before exploring Italy (or returning from Holidays). As for the Hotel, perfect score speaks for itself. Very clean rooms / bathrooms / outdoor spaces, extremely competent, helpful and at the same time welcoming staff. Very convenient - one of the best in Italy - breakfast option (you pre-select most of the items from the large list). Private and secure parking available for all guests. Plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy in the evening. Last but not least extremely convenient location for those travelling with dog as there are vast walking grounds around the town (designated routes along external fortifications 5-7 minutes from the Hotel). Its a must stop. We will definately be back whenever driving to (or from) Italy

There is not a single thing we did not like or enjoy.

The hotel is located in the Palmanova main square and has a private parking next to the hotel. My family and I booked a 3 bed room for one night during our trip back to Switzerland. As soon as we entered the receptionist was very welcoming and provided us all the information we needed regarding the breakfast. Even though we traveled during the 4th Covid19 Omicron wave, the hotel found a solution to provide high quality services while respecting the hygiene and social distancing measures. We had to fill in a list with a lot of breakfast varieties and they have prepared everything fresh and exactly as we wanted. The home made cakes and juices were very tasty. The room was clean and the beds confortable.

Excellent location on Piazza Grande, convenient private parking.

Lack of possibility to adjust aircon from within the room. Unfortunately the lovely piazza was completely full of an annual funfair being set up with the accompanying racket of hydraulic torque wrenches which ruined one of the main sights of Palmanova.

The staff was super nice and caring, I got good advices about what to visit. The hotel room was very good for the price. The breakfast was perfect. The key highlight is probably that the location is the most central you can expect in Palmanova (and they have a parking even though when I was there parking in the city was easy to find).

Maybe the lack of a tiny bit of decoration inside the rooms, mine had a lot of space and some corners felt a bit empty. Very minor though.

Best location in Palmanova. Excellent breafast. Perfect Italian food and perfect esspresso coffee. Free and secure parking. We cannot imagine better place to stay in Palmanova and we will always return to this hotel.

Everything was perfect

The hotel is directly on the main square of Palmanova. There are many cafeterias and restaurants in close vicinity. During Covid restrictions the breakfast was in form of buffet but you needed to preselect which foods you wanted the evening before. Hotel has parking spaces in the next door church backyard.

There is a church next door, so be prepared that church bells will ring quite close.

Super hotel, super staff....hotel is on the main square of this extraordinary and fascinating place and there is a private and secure parking at the back. Staff go above and beyond the call of duty to be helpful. Can't recommend it enough.
