UNAHOTELS Expo Fiera Milano

We chose this hotel as we like the Una Hotels chain, and it is fairly close to the San Siro stadium, where we were seeing Coldplay! We got a taxi to the stadium which cost around €30 and a Metro back. It is a lovely hotel with a relaxing ambience, away from the hustle and bustle of central Milan. It is good value for money compared to hotels in the centre. The coffee shop and bar staff are very helpful and have almond milk for vegans/lactose intolerant. They told us about the 6.00 pm aperitif tradition in Italy, and we paid €10 each for an Aperol spritz and delicious mini buffet. Our room was lovely with comfortable beds and an amazing shower! The hotel is within walking distance of two Metro stations on the M1 line, which takes you straight into the city centre. It is best to walk to Pero out of the two, as it is a shorter walk. The hotel has a pool table and table tennis which are fun! There is a good choice at breakfast. Wifi is good.

We travelled in and out of the city centre in both the day and evening, so it did feel like quite a lot of walking and travelling on the Metro. It is around a 12 minute walk to Pero, so you would need to be reasonably fit and active. I personally think it's worth it for the lovely hotel and money saving. There was only one standard European plug charger in the room. Our converters didn't work in the sockets next to the bed, so check in advance which type you need. The hotel would be even better if it had a swimming pool.

A recently built hotel in Pero, this is a large luxury hotel. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts are excellent and although busy there are many serving points do I did not have to wait. The facilities are excellent and it is great value.

The hotel is a long way from the centre of Milan and a 15 minute walk from the metro, however there is a shuttle bus in peak hours. Taxis are very expensive in Milan.

The coffee quality for breakfast should definitively be better. I don't expect to have a perfect cup of coffee served to my table, but at least Nespresso quality level would be nice.

Big bedroom with all the comforts needed, cleanliness everywhere, facilities well thinked and organized.

The breakfast room was definitely too crowded, noisy, really difficult to find a table, some coffee machines didn't work at all. It's definitely a point to be improved.

Staff at the breakfast ! At 10am one of the staff members forced me to move from breakfast room ( not letting me to finish my breakfast in peace) , because täshe said they are preparing the room for lunch ( at 10am!??? ) However other staff members were way nicer to me and offered me a coffee at the bar as an excuse... It Italy there is rarely a good service..m

Friendly and professional staff, big and clean room, very reach and quality breakfast. Free shuttle service to and from the subway station is very helpful. Very good location - to get to the Milano center takes around half an hour with the subway. The subway station is about 10 min walking over the quiet streets if coming back late. There is a free parking lot just in front of the hotel - very usable.

Location and parking is very good. The hotel is big and relatively easy to find everything. The breakfast is good and the staff is cool. Very good restaurant.

This time I don't want to criticize the hotel staff, but the situation was encouraging. Tourists had arrived by bus and the staff was quite slow in serving them. As a result, we had quite a long wait.

The room provided a coffee machine, nice.

I think the room should have some bottled water every day, or some beverage in the minibar, even not free. So that it would be convenient for the guest to drink, in the night and morning. It won't be a cost concern for the 200+ Euro per night rate... l just have no time to buy elsewhere, quite some distance to walk to the town, and cold outside.
