B&B Hotel Milano San Siro

Big room, big bed, comfortable mattress and pillows. Location can be a plus or a minus depending on why you come here. It's across the street from San Siro stadium, but it's a good 15 minutes away from first metro station. We weren't here specifically for the stadium but we liked the location anyways, the area is not crowded with buildings and the sight of the stadium on our everyday walk to and from the metro station is something that will remain in our memory. Also there is a fast-food type of restaurant next door to the hotel open until 23:00, wich made it perfect for diner. At 12 euro for a burger with fries it's not the cheapest in town. But it sure is convenient since not many establishments are open that late, and that 12 euro burger was equal to at least 3 x Double Cheesburgers from McD

Day 1 we reported a problem with the shower faucet. While it was turned up to max pressure on lukewarm temperature, it would not maintain the set temperature, varying from boiling hot to ice cold without touching the faucet. Reception staff said they will send someone to fix it, didn't found it fixed when we arrived at night. We figured out that if we only turn the water pressure to half it doesen't happen anymore and we let it at that. Maybe it was a problem with the water heating system, something was not working right. Also the shower door was not closing properly. Having only 2 wall sockets in the room was not ideal.

Great bedroom size, comfortable space. Staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and approachable. Breakfast is very good, and is kept very well stocked with most things that you would want to eat - breads, cakes, croissants, fruit, yogurts, cheese, cold meats, hot food; with a very good coffee machine. City Tour buses stop close to the San Siro stadium in the afternoon, and a 10 minute walk to the Metro.

There are a few places (close by) to eat, within walking distance, but choice is a little limited. I should imagine this is easier if you have a car, or travel into Milan at night to eat. There could be a few more hooks in the bathroom, places to keep toiletries etc.

We stayed for just one night to go to a concert at Ippodromo and for this purpose was absolutely perfect. Walking distance from the location, comfy mattress, well-sized bathroom, no noise from the road, clean wooden floors. The receptionists were absolutely impeccable, as well as the people taking care of breakfast in the morning. I appreciated the selection of the vending machines in the lobby. We didn't get to the city centre this time but we caught the metro anyway and it's quite convenient. Also it's right next to the Stadium so extremely convenient if you're in Milan for that.

Only small details: pillows could have been more comfortable, no socket near the bed (although there were light switches on both sides, I found it funny), the extra toilet paper roll was placed up high above the bidet, next to the towel hangers, rather then next to the WC. Found that rather peculiar too. None of these things were a big deal to us, honestly. (We charged our phones one the desk, were they've placed both sockets and USB ports)

The best thing about this hotel is the location if one attends an even at the San Siro Stadium. It is located right in front of the stadium and hence provides the absolutely easiest "walk" back at night. The location itself is nice, calm and there is a budget restaurant right next to the hotel. The room and the hotel are very clean and effective.

The breakfast could be included in the price, especially considering that the place is not the cheapest, though it is clear than one pays for the location.

Lorenzo and his staff were so welcoming and so helpful giving directions and even ordering us a taxi. .They even have public transport tickets for sale to save time. Found tram the easiest. A fantastic stay, great breakfast, spacious, clean and comfortable beds, quiet, safe and secure. 24 hr desk and variety of drinks available to purchase, much appreciated for our 11pm arrival. Would highly recommend.

If we were to suggest anything, a mini fridge may be useful.

The room was very clean and a good size. The beds were very comfortable and the air-conditioning was great. The location was perfect as we were going to a concert in the San Siro Stadium, and the hotel is literally in front of the stadium. It was also not too far from a subway stop, which made it easier to go to the center of Milano. The breakfast was also really good, there were different options of things to eat, all good. The staff was very nice.

Nothing in particular

Wonderful staff very friendly. The location is wonderful for AC Milan Fans or any other soccer fan that is watching the game at San Siro Stadium. the distance is a minute walk just right across the street! it was perfect and was thankful to have the hotel near. parking for only 10€ daily. everything worked out wonderful. the coffee downstairs main lobby is so delicious for just 1€.

our shower was leaking water all over the bathroom floor it needs to be checked. the shower door closes but the water leaks right out.

The staff on the check in desk were helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean, had all the facilities like a safe and fridge, plus they were in a good condition. The windows were nice and large and let lots of light in. A good view of the stadium!

The breakfast facilities were limited due to the size of the hotel, when it was busy you had to queue for 10mins to get something. No bar just fridges of drinks plus the outdoor seating area was closed so nowhere to sit for a drink.

Staff were terrific, professional and helpful. Rooms were clean and new.

Only thing I disliked was the location. The nearest public transportation point is 10-15 mins away by walking and when it rains a lot, the experience is not fun. Nearest supermarket is far. I don’t mind the actual hotel being far from central Milan, just not having any public transport nearby was bothersome.

This hotel was the perfect choice for a one night stay in Milan so my kids could attend a concert at the hippodrome, it was a safe and easy 20 minute walk to the venue gate. Parking was easily accessed and our big car fit just fine. The rooms were a good size for 2 adults and a large dog and the beds were comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. We were right beside the elevator and never heard a thing, soundproofing was good. The breakfast was crowded but definitely priced right - 7,20 Euro for eggs, sausage, lots of pastries, meats and cheeses, and unlimited cappucino and juice. The America Graffiti restaurant next door is very convenient for dinner too though I imagine it's crazy when there's a football game at the stadium. Lots of bar / cafes in the area too if you're looking to be outside.
