Santa Caterina

Loved the private parking area. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was super helpful. We had problems hooking up to wifi and they walked up to our floor with us to manually link us. The location is right across the street from the ruins.

There was a bit of street noise and the window was more of a port hole, but we didn't spend much time in the room.

Hotel's location is great, 5 min walk from Pompei's Piazza and 5 min walk to one of the ruins entrance. Staff is nice, we had a room with a small balcony with a view to the main church bell tower and we can even see some of the ruins from there. Free parking inside the hotel. Breakfast kind of basic but for us who don't eat much in the morning it was OK.

The balcony gave us a great view, but it can get kind of noisy during the night it is a very busy street, ear plugs helped. Anyway if we had to choose again we will pick the same room. The room was ok for 2 adults and 2 kids

The location is superb. It was about a 5 minute taxi ride from the train station where you can catch a train to Naples or Sorrento. It is also very close to the ruins as well as restaurants and other little shops (all within walking distance). The front desk staff was nice and the breakfast selection was also good. The room was a good size - it was a little dated, but we felt that added to its charm. We are females in our mid 20s and felt safe here the whole time!

I really don't have any complaints. This place is a great value for the location.

Excellent location right across the street from the Pompeii ruins entrance with numerous restaurants close by. Large and clean room with air-conditioning and comfortable bed at a very reasonable price with free breakfast included. 24 hour front desk and great WIFI.

Nothing the hotel can do about it but its location right along the main street in Pompeii means the crowds are very noisy outside until about midnight.

The hotel was close to everything: Pompeii ruins, cafés, restaurants, shops and other amenities and had its own carpark. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They served a delicious breakfast every morning. The room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Hotel Santa Caterina to anyone. It is also very good value for money.

Room is small but spotless and location unbeatable

Kindness of both hotel desk managers. Perfect location to access ruins. The hotel rooms were quietly accessible, behind the crowded main street.

Wifi. We could not access the internet. Bar patrons sitting and talking at the pedestrian entrance gate (rotating turn-style) to the parking lot in the evening. We did not feel unsafe, but it was somewhat disconcerting.

The location is great, the hotel is even better realy great room with realy good attention by the staff good breakfast and parking . We will come back soon.

We wanted to keep the room till 12 as it is usually but it was not possible.we arrived 23 and 9.30 we went to the archeological site 2.5 hours and wanted to refresh before leaving for Bri disi.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Santa Caterina in Pompei. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff. The price was very good, and included free parking and free breakfast. The hotel itself is perfectly located, mere steps away from the entrance to the Pompei Ruins. We strongly recommend this property!

I honestly cannot think of anything that we did not like. Everything was perfect. From the location, to the quality of the room, to the customer service provided us. Amazing property!

The staff at this hotel is very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, barely 200 m from the main entrance to the archaeological park. We were also satisfied with the breakfast, it was above average for smaller Italian hotels of this level.

The only criticism deserves a shower which is really very small . The shower rose is only fixed which of course is not very convenient.
