We booked the Suite which was very spacious—living room, bathroom with tub, and bedroom with queen bed (or perhaps slightly larger). The mattress and pillows were quite comfortable, on the firm side which I prefer. The AC/heating units in the living room and bedroom were quiet and functional (another review someplace complained that they were noisy, this was not our experience, but can't speak for other rooms). Breakfast was better than I expected, and included coffee, yummy pastry, hard boiled eggs and yogurt, some cold meats and cheese. All of the staff were extremely friendly. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient—but not in the thick of things, so returning for a mid-day pit stop was at times inconvenient.

A few things in the room were a bit run down, for example some of the furniture was past its prime (though still functional), and the bed linens were a little threadbare. Instead of an electronic key card, you had to carry around physical keys for the building, the room, and the room safe; maybe this is typical for a boutique hotel in Rome, but I especially would have preferred a safe with numeric code rather than worry about the key.

We spent the majority of our Italian honeymoon at Deko Rome and I’m so glad we did. the location is very convenient. 8 minute walk from the borghese gallery, barberini metro, and a hop on/off tour bus station. it’s near a police station and several embassies so it’s very quiet at night and we felt quite safe walking around. there’s a grocery store a couple doors down and several restaurants and a farmacia within a few blocks. the rooms were comfortable, the decor is lovely, and the staff was wonderful. we’re booking here next time we’re in Rome.

Location was in the center , very convenient, it was easy get to the hotel and back to the airport with public transport. Bus stop in 20 m away. There is a safe, 2 bottles of water (refreshing everyday)., kettle. Staff was friendly and helpful. We got checked in on time at 2pm. Alessandro kindly helped me with a trolley, explained everything. The room was allocated on 2nd floor with a garden view, very quiet. We were provided with single beds as requested . Breakfast was mediocre (common continental breakfast). recommended

We arrived early evening in the dark…the hotel never had a sign on the front and no one was able to help us….eventually we realised the hotel was behind a big wooden door which has separate doorbells. We would definately stay here again now we know.

The room was clean and simple and the hotel was quiet overall but we could hear our neighbour coughing late into the night. It was in a good location, walkable to transit and kitty corner to the US Embassy. There was also a little grocery store next door where we could buy bottled water and sandwiches for cheap.

The breakfast was pretty basic and if you showed up after 9am, there were even fewer options.

Excellent service. Very clean room and modern bathroom. Towels were changed every day. People were very helpful and friendly. Amazing high ceiling rooms. Great location next to public travel but also within walking distance to heart of Rome. We were delighted with out stay and will definitely come back next time we visit Rome :)

A really nice place to discover Rome even by foot. Close to the park, good restaurants, nice neigborhoods around. The breakfast is basic but it works and fulfils its purpose. It was very calm at night and we had a good rest every night ! The room is cleaned every day, it's well organized etc

Deko Rome is in a great location. Next door is a supermarket. The taxi rank is just over the road. Train stations, Spanish steps and major shopping just 10 minutes stroll. The staff are amazing - they want to help and do so with a smile. 24/7 reception.

We were in room 34. We got street noise and smoke smells. The bathroom wall does not go to roof so at night the light wakes everyone up. The pillows were awful and couldn't be changed.

This boutique hotel is made of about 6 rooms and is part of another boutique hotel called boutique inn Both very nice and excellent location The staff are exceptionally nice and friendly Only huge issue is booking.com does not have the correct contact info and makes it very stressful trying to get a hold of the property

Great location within a short walk of the Metro than can take you to the Vatican Museum/St. Peter's Basilica. The best way to discover a city is on foot and many of the big tourist/cultural sites are within 15/30 minute walk of the hotel. The staff were friendly and our suite was very comfortable.
