Hotel Garda

Location was excellent for walking to many major sights. Room was nicely designed and roomy. Bed was comfortable and room and building were clean. Staff helped order a taxi to the airport. About an hour drive for 65 euros.

Shower is designed to leak onto floor without extreme efforts to the contrary. Room safe was dead so had to use another safe in lobby which is mildly annoying. Fridge was running but would not cool. Air conditioner worked but controls seemed to make suggestions rather than issue commands. No ice available for drinks. No English TV channels.

Very quiet and peaceful stay. Room cleaned and linen changed daily. On duty staff obliged by giving us hot water for tea/coffee in morning/evening. My husband suffered a severe nose bleed at 2am and the young man Andrea got ice and tissues and promise of ambulance if it did not stop in 30 mins! Fortunately it stopped in 20 minutes. The fact that he was willing to help was very reassuring to me and my husband! The receptionists Joy and Iceyuu also helped in ensuring a misplaced piece of luggage was delivered before our check out!!

The hotel is totally value for money, in this price is very difficult to find something better in Rome. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very warm and also there is plenty of warm water to shower. The room is clean but there are some imperfections eg the mirror had some small damages. The location is perfect with cute near by restaurants and cafes and metro and bus station. Some of the most famous attractions are in walking distance. Over all the experience was really pleasant and I totally recommended for an value for money and comfortable stay.

Location is great. Walking distance to all the main attractions. 1 block away from the bus stop. Short walk away from tram station. Hotel is not luxury or glamorous, but has everything you could need. Clean, helpful and friendly staff, excellent housekeeping, good AC, clean and spacious bathroom, secure and safe building. On the top floors of an apartment building so it’s really like you are living like a local in your own apartment. In very nice and quiet part of town. Great value for money. Also a gelato shop is 1 block away!

Nothing wrong with the hotel, but there are not many restaurants or stores nearby, so you have to walk or transit to the more touristy areas for a restaurant.

Amazing location, clean rooms and friendly staff! Air con was really good and much appreciated as we were there during the heatwave. Great restaurants just around the corner and within 10 minutes walking distance of the Trevi Fountain. Very basic hotel, however it’s the perfect base for a short stay in Rome.

The location was excellent, the room was clean. The reception staff was very kind and nice. An excellent place to stay if you want to travel all day and return to sleep in a pleasant place

The fridge didn't work but they let me store my food in the fridge in the kitchen. It was perfectly fine.

I stayed here in ,76 so I was returniing. It's not far from the Spanish steps. It has great security . BUT THE STAFF WAS FANTASTIC..

My bed mattress was lumpy n needed replacing and I told the staff to make the manager lie down on it. I bet they did! It was a bit drab in my room but ok

It was available for our dates, was reasonably central and not as expensive as other hotels.

The hotel is basic. It seemed clean enough but the A/C was noisy and there was quite a sewagey stench coming from the en-suite. Pillows were very thin as were the towels.

perfect location! just a short walk from several of the main attractions. the staff was 24/7 at reception, and was very helpfull. the bathroom was very modern.

the room could have been a bit bigger, but it was no problem.

The hotel is nice, cosy, and excellently located few blocks from Fontana de Trevi, Piazza Republica, Piazza Barberini, Termini and plenty of small restaurants and trattorias.

You have to go through stairs (one floor) to go to the rooms.
