Brilliant stay at In Trastevere House. The rooms are perfect for a stay in Rome and have everything you might need. The beds are really comfortable and we got some great night's sleep (and some cheeky siestas). You get tokens for breakfast at the cafe downstairs which is a perfect and convenient way to start the day. For the ladies, shampoo, conditioner and hairdryer provided which saves space in the bag! The hosts are fab and so so friendly. Paola met us when we arrived and showed us everything we needed. She was very helpful with recommendations. We also met Daniele who was super friendly and helpful. The people that run this place are genuinely happy to be welcoming people to their city/country and want everyone to see it at its best! Very close to the main area of Trastevere which is known for its brilliant food and bars. Friday/Saturday nights are lively, but always space somewhere! Cannot fault this accommodation in any way and we hope to be back again in 2 years (for the Rugby), or if not sooner!

This B&B was located in a good spot, from where it was easy to access different areas of Rome. The room was cleaned each day and there was a coffee machine in the room with a variety of coffee options which we enjoyed a lot. Our host Daniele was really kind and gave some helpful advice for getting around, like the Porta Portese market, which we would not have found by ourselves. The breakfast was nice, in a cafe next door. Overall, we highly recommend In Trastevere House.

The only minor issue we had was that the street door was not easy to open at first, but we had some fun while trying different ways :)

Our host Luana is very helpful and friendly. Our room was perfectly clean and fresh. We stayed 10 days in the room above the courtyard and it was generally very quiet. The location on Via Trastevere is excellent. The rooms are very secure, with a nice key fob electronic entry system. The shared hallway felt welcoming and quiet. We rarely bumped into other guests.

If you're not on the street side of the building, the view from the courtyard balcony is not exactly romantic, as it overlooked a parking and loading area. The bed is the only place to relax a bit as there is only one comfortable chair. For a short stay this is probably not very important.

Lovely room overlooking Viale di Trastevere. Balcony was nice but small and the aircon unit took up a fair amount of space and threw out hot air so we tunred aircon off while out there. Bed was big and comfortable, TV had Netflix, prime etc. Little fridge was stocked with sparkling and still water that could be re-filled from taps in communal kitchen. Beer in it could be bought. There was plenty of storage which was refreshing. Bathroom was nice, quite large and shower flow was hot and pressure good. Neighbourhood was great for restaurants and cafes and there is a supermarket right next door.

Shower was small and opened on a corner so any larger persons would find this a little uncomfortable. Breakfast was a coffee and cake from cafe next door not sure why they bothered.

Daniele was fabulous greeting us and providing the necessary information. We were on a short schedule when we arrived and he was very understanding. The room was immaculate and the additional touches like slippers and water were very much appreciated. We wish we stayed longer! The bathroom was spacious and that is a huge bonus in Rome! The walk over the Tiber River to Rome Centre was a wonderful stroller of about 15 minutes. Trastevere is definitely a place to spend time in. Thank you Daniele!

There was nothing not to like here.

The property is in a great location in Trastevere and came with a delicious breakfast from the bakery down stairs. the decor of the place was sleep and modern, the room was large for two people and the bed was very comfortable! Daniele was very accommodating even with us being delayed a day due to flight cancellations. Check-In was smooth and easy! Highly Recommend!

Trastevere is outside the center of Rome so be aware that to see major sights such as the Colosseum, Trevi, Pantheon, etc it’s best to have a car, hire a taxi or take public transport.

We loved this B&B so much, having a little balcony to sit out on each evening with a cool drink after our long days exploring Rome, & watching the busy traffic go by turned out to be quite a highlight! Daniele was so friendly & although he couldn't check us in personally, he gave us perfect instructions via Whats app. Having a small kitchen available was great, it had still & sparkling water on tap too. We would highly recommend In Trastevere House. We loved it!

Nothing to dislike

We stayed at Trastevere House for 4 nights. The check in was easy once we called the number listed. Daniele and the staff were super hospitable, friendly, and set up transport to the airport. Amazing location, 20 mins walk to the Pantheon, about 35 to the Colosseum, 40 mins walk to the Vatican. Major bus stop across the street too. Lots of amazing dining options nearby (the BEST pizza place Suppli is right around the corner, also Zia restaurant and Trappizino). The coffee shop where you get your breakfast was awesome, really flexible with pastries and great espresso. The unit itself was a good size with a great bathroom and view of the street. Very clean and comfortable! We had no complaints and would definitely stay here again.

He who hesitates is lost. Don’t think about it just book it. I’ve joined the In Trastevere converted. There are 5 rooms all with exceptional facilities….a fridge with cold water also a cold water tap in the shared kitchen. A fridge, an electric jug with tea and coffee supplied and a coffee maker. The rooms are a generous size, mine was particularly generous as were the toiletries in the bathroom. The bed and pillows are extra comfortable and the aircon is whisper quiet. Breakfast is available at the cafe downstairs. The staff are very generous with their information and nothing is too much trouble. The tram to Plaza Navona is about 50m from the front door which opens you up to tourist Rome. It’s nice to return to the relaxing atmosphere of In Trastevere after a day’s sightseeing. Enjoy, I’m envious that it’s your turn to enjoy In Trastevere.

There’s nothing I didn’t like but for those that may be physically challenged in the knees or hips there is a flight of stairs to take into consideration.

Fantastic location. It's on a main drag, so there are tons of restaurants, bars, pharmacies, bus stops, and shops nearby. Safe area. Room was very comfortable and well stocked - coffee, filtered water, mini fridge, kettle, a safe, soaps. Very comfortable, soft beds and 4 pillows - 2 memory foam and 2 softer. Two luggage racks(!) A clothing rack/dresser. There is a kitchen area. You can refill the filtered water bottles in there. We also snagged a wine key and a couple glasses for evening wine on the lovely balcony shaded by the sycamores. Staff was very nice!

Our fridge turned off in the middle of the night, and our food got spoiled. Just had to unplug it and it restarted. Not a true bnb. You must leave the bnb, go outside and next door to the busy cafe to get your breakfast. One pastry and one coffee, pastries are slim pickings after 10am. These are of no fault to the cleaners, just what happens with heavy use: There black spots on the bathroom ceiling. The kettle needs scrubbed. A residue has formed in the bottom.
