The location is just perfect: city center, but not noisy. Our room was cozy, nice, clean and comfortable. The room has everything you need plus teapot with big variety of tea. There is a big balcony with table and chairs, so you can have a cup of tea or coffee at balcony. The bathroom has hairdryer and very good lighting (which is rarely case for a hotels in general). The breakfast (the good one!!) is served in the living room. There are a lot of books about Italy, Rome and about anything in different languages. By the way, the hotel can organize a taxi from / to the airport.

good hearing. heard when someone goes up or down the internal stairs. But this did not spoil the overall impression of the place.

Breakfast was good. Location was good.

A little old. The walls were very thin. When I woke up early, I didn't want to shave or flush the toilet because I didn't want to wake my neighbors.

The guest house was absolutely lovely. The host, Marco, and the majordomo, George, we’re excellent and gracious hosts. George was attentive and served an incredible breakfast (with Marco’s homemade jams, loads of fresh fruit and other delicacies). George even baked cake especially for my children after they enjoyed some our first morning. The rooms we had were perfect, large and located right next to the living area but it was essentially private for us for most of the day. They were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The beds were a tiny bit hard for our taste but we still slept very well each night and the bedding was great, and the air conditioner worked well. The showers were strong and hot and the bathrooms were nicely appointed. The guest house is located in a quiet and beautiful corner of Trastavere, an easy walk from all the sites of Rome. Marco and George offered suggestions of places to see and we were glad we followed their advice! Don’t miss Sta. Cecelia and the amazing medieval frescoes. It was truly a perfect place to call home in Rome.

It wasn’t a problem for us, but the rooms are located several short flights upstairs which would be a challenge for guests with mobility issues. Otherwise it was truly lovely.

Me and my grandmother had the best stay here in Rome. Marco, his wife and George are so friendly and always there to help you. The location was perfect, Trastevere is a nice spot to stay with a lot of places to eat nearby. The room was clean, spacious and had comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing, enough to choose from and the home made jam is the best! Definitely recommended and if we come back to Rome once more we will definitely book this Guest House again!

It was lovely to be welcomed to Rome by George and to stay somewhere that felt like home. Good sized room, and shared areas in the house. Lovely breakfast in a most beautiful setting while being right where everything is happening in Trastevere. Fantastic location with many very good food options at the doorstep and walking distance from key locations or easily reached by bus. Felt very comfortable. Would highly recommend staying here.

There was a knack to opening the door to the unit but once you work it out it’s fine!

Even though I read all the comments, it was still a surprise to find the spacious and beautiful hotel (more resembling a posh family house) after opening the door at the top of a very ordinary looking staircase. We were already allowed to check in at 10:30 in the morning and although our room was not ready yet, we could leave our luggage. Check-out times are also very relaxed: 12 PM is unusually late. Our room had a little terrace and was nicely decorated. I also liked the bathroom with the old-fashioned, handsome sink. Please do not change a thing! Breakfast too was delicious. And the location is perfect if you like to stay in Trastevere. We had dinner in Da Teo, which we very much enjoyed.

This stay far exceeded our expectations, and we didn't want to leave! The room was huge and we were surprised with the sweetest private balcony. The bathrooms are renovated and clean. This B&B has a very homey feel and is located right in the heart of Trastevere surrounded by good restaurants. Great bang for your buck and will definitely stay here again if we're back in Rome!

The beds aren't the most comfortable, but the pros outweigh the cons :)

I booked looking for a somewhat affordable last-minute stay in Rome, and the guest house was an unexpected pleasure to stay in! The atmosphere was very homelike with the Old World charm of a 19th century novel. From here I walked 15 minutes to Santissima Trinita Dei Pellegrini, 30 minutes to St. Peter’s Basilica, and 30 minutes to the Basilica of St. Mary Major. There were some restaurants nearby, and the river was easily accessible. Would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast aside from the rotting fruit was very nice in the dining room - coffee was excellent.

Fruit at breakfast was rotting. The check in process was very hurried so he could leave which meant the checkout process was extremely abrupt & hurried collecting tourist tax before check out time. I was ready to leave before checkout time so there was no issue & if this time isn't suitable for the host then it shouldn't be advertised at that time.
