Mio Hotel Firenze

The hotel is really well located, just next to the line of the tram (less than 10 min from the airport and maybe 20/25 to go in the center). The neighborhood is safe. The room was nice. Big thanks to the air conditioner !! The staff is so nice, thanks to them !!

The room was clean expect under the bed. And it was a little noisy, the room was not really isolated so I heard all the noise from the hallways. But we get along easily.

if you’re looking for an affordable but comfortable place to stay near the airport in Florence, this is it. But what I liked most was the staff. They were always super helpful and kind. I needed help reserving a taxi at like 5:30 in the morning, and they helped me out getting it. They were also very eager to recommend places to go around Florence, and I appreciated that! Tram is very close so it’s easy to get to the center and the airport. 100% recommend!

Personally, I like it when rooms are decorated. I had a single room, and I don’t know how others look like. This isn’t really bad, but I would suggest maybe putting a photo or a painting so that it doesn’t look so empty. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean. The buffet breakfast is served well. The hotel has easy tram connection to the city center.

The tram connection let me down, though, on the day of my departure. Since it is the only transportation to the center and the connecting line to the bus station, I missed my flixbus. I simply couldn't get to the station because the trams were not going anywhere. It is not the hotel's fault, of course. But consider the location when you make your traveling plans.

The staff was super nice and welcoming. The location was optimum with a tram station really close by. The room was comfortable.

The AC made a lot of noise so we couldnt use it when we were in the room so it was really hot. Otherwise, it was very good.

The hotel is spotless clean. It's about a 3 min walk from the tram station. The rooms are nice and spacious (huge), the bathrooms are small but you don't need more than that. The breakfast was good, there is a huge variety. There are restaurants around the hotel for dinner. It's a great budget hotel that is safe, clean, comfortable. Good value for money.

The coffee during breakfast was horrific.

Good breakfast, most facilities were pretty good. Close enough to tram statition so it's easy to reach. Staff is really polite and helpful. You get a map of the city and they're ready to answer any question you have

Some stuff on the room was not working properly. The bed was two single beds paired together so a gap opened right in the middle. The air conditioning started leaking after a few minutes.

Room, cleanliness, service, location - just perfect and amazing. So quiet, could not belive you was in a city. Location, perfect for experience Florance. And the Hostel in itself was a worthy experience. And all thanks to the staff, good information and service.

Breakfast was a bit simple, not much to choose from. Caffe was good though.

The place was very nice for its price point. The staff was very hospitable and helpful. Also, the room was very clean and it's near the city of Florence (you can take a tram to go to the city centre just 5 minutes from the hotel by foot). I'm considering it cheap for what it has to offer.

Despite all the good of the hotel, its quite old. If it was a bit new i think it would be a 4-star hotel

The rooms need updating the electrical plugs don’t fit the standard European adapter and lack of plugs in room. The bathroom is ridiculously small the bidet meets you at door and shower can’t move. The bed mattress was very uncomfortable and there was only a sheet and thin cover, leaving me cold all night,

Very clean, comfortable hotel near airport. Perfect for 1 night pre early flight. Easy to reach from city centre and easy to get to airport in the morning, all by tram. VERY nice and helpful staff. Nice breakfast choice.

Not a luxury hotel but absolutely perfect for airport. Exactly what I wanted and expected.
