Great location! it’s a bit tricky to find because there are some construction works outside but it’s a nice place, super close to main attractions and restaurants.

The reception didn’t response to my messages when I tried to contact them a couple of hours before my arrival. The phone wasn’t being answered either, but once I reached them it was all fine. There’s no reception at the place, so you will have to arrange an arrival time the most exact you can, so they’re there when you reach the place. Once you reach the reception, the personal is super friendly and they helped us with information about the tours and other attractions.

The location was within a few minutes of everywhere I needed to go for work. The restaurant courtyard outside the front door meant we could get food without going anywhere if we wanted to. July weather was incredibly hot and the AC was amazing! We had a WhatsApp number to message for help whenever we needed.

This isn't the fault of the property, but my European travel adapters didn't work. All the plugs are type L, which I couldn't buy before I traveled. It was an easy fix from a local supermarket.

Easy to check in, helpful employee got us access to ztl even with very short notice, there was both coffee maker and ground coffee in the apartment, very appreciated!

The bed wasn't super comfortable, check out was a bit complicated as we needed to go to a nearby by location to pay. Also, check out times could be moved to some time later, especially considering the cleaning staff starts in the other location anyway. There was only one coffee mug though, so we used a teacup instead. It's not clear which bin is for what (they differentiate trash).

The location is superb, being 200m away from two beaches that offer pleasant swimming and sunbathing. The courtyard that the properties open out onto is stunningly beautiful. It is the beer garden for the pub/restaurant next door, but don't let this put you off. The pub offers a wonderful opportunity to sit and have a drink on arrival, literally at the front door while you are awaiting somebody to turn up with the keys to your apartment. I should mention that we had a conversation with the waiter who mentioned that he wasn't surprised to see us waiting for some time, it happens all the time apparently. The property owners are a bit slow to get back to you to organise the check-in and didn't answer the phone so we did need to wait for 2-3 hours upon arrival before somebody turned up. There is an electronic locking system too, so they could have just given us the code, but they needed to take payment so I guess that was the reason why they insist on being there. I have nothing bad to say about Ortigia itself. It was my favourite part of our trip to Sicily. Water pressure wonderful, an adequate kitchenette. Our toddler slept downstairs on the sofa bed with no problems. Walking out the door to be able to sit at a table and eat/drink in the courtyard really was wonderful and the noise at night is no problem. The waiters at the pub were very, very nice as we saw them basically every day, several times on the way in and out. A wonderful property and I would definitely stay here or somewhere similar when visiting Ortigia again.

The only gripe about the accommodation would be the massive lack of power points in any useful location. We had to disconnect the microwave to plug in a laptop to use at the kitchen table, and our phones were left charging in the bathroom because the wall sockets were buried behind the bedhead and various items of furniture that made them very difficult to get to. Probably some wine glasses and bottle opener would be nice but then again, you are next to a pub that has those things.

Good value. Good location, very close to the Piazza del Duomo. Mini-apartment with a small kitchen area and sitting area downstairs and bedroom and bathroom upstairs—it was good to be able to prepare food, make tea etc.

The mini-apartment was one of four converted from an older building, on one side of a courtyard set back from the street. It was mostly quiet. However, the walls between the apartments are very thin: you will share in the lives of your fellow residents, whether you like it or not!

The location is excellent (next to Duomo square). Also the apartments are spacious and clean overall. The staff was generally friendly.

The beds were not very comfortable and after a few days the bathroom smelled a bit. Also it was a bit cold, because the heating airco could not work for long time, but the staff kindly provided a heating ventilator. Those disadvantages were not a big problem, but it is worth mentioning them for full information.

The location is perfect - close to everything. The studio is well equipped in the heart of the center of Ortigia. The girl was very kind. We would visit again.

The lady was very kind to move us in another studio, because the first one was not cleaned very well. Everything was perfect. Thank you, Résidence Ortigia!

The apartment is really nice and has everything you need. It's very spacious and nicely decorated.

The shower has literally zero pressure. The apartment is right next to the terrace of a pub. However we only stayed one night and arrived late so it wasn't an issue for us but it might have been difficult if we wanted to sleep earlier or stayed more days.

Good location. It was tranquil as it was located at an inner courtyard.

The air condition did't work nor the TV. Also we had to go the office to pay for the room instead of paying with credit card over the internet.

Beutiful and good location

Lack of communication with the personnel in charge of the apartments, we didn't know how to enter or where to do before arriving. The bathroom smells bad and a towel were humid.
