Grand Hotel Trento

First and foremost, the staff were uniformly pleasant, professional, and helpful. From check-in, to recommending restaurants (and even calling to reserve a table), to advice on the hiking in the area, they went above and beyond to help us with any request. The location is also excellent. We were able to walk to all the local historical and cultural points of interest (Duomo, Castle Buon Consiglio) and restaurants. My wife thought the room was bit dated, but everything worked, it was comfortable, and the room was what I expected in an old-world hotel (and I mean that as a compliment). The variety and quantity of breakfast items was also more than ample.

The breakfast was a mixed bag. While more than ample in terms of quantity and variety, several of the items were just not that good. The coffee - from a self-serve machine - was an especially weak point, as were the scrambled eggs, and some of the fruit appeared to be from a can.

The hotel is what one expects for a 4 star accommodation - friendly helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms, good internet, very well done breakfast. Nothing especially unique or outstanding, but nothing to complain about. The hotel is close to the main train station and city center, everything is walkable distance. All in all, I'd probably stay here again if overnighting in Trento.

The only negative was that parking at the hotel was expensive and there are limited options in the area (not many people want to leave their car with non-local plates on the street by a public park near the train station overnight).

It should be continental breakfast , not everybody like sweets for breakfast , but very good espresso and fruits

Spacious room and bathroom. Good international buffet breakfast, catering for all nationalities. Also good food in restaurant, where we chose to eat both evenings we were there. Underground secure car park - it cost €12 a day, but worth every cent. Good central location, a short walk to the old town centre, which is beautiful. Also just across the piazza from bus and train stations for those using public transport. And finally staff were all lovely and very helpful when necessary.

Perhaps the rooms and bathrooms are now a bit dated.

Hotel is wonderfully furbished with an excellent staff. The location is superb. Although it is located across fron the train station, the area is very quiet. The city center is just a couple of minutes away from the hotel. There are some great restaurants in its vicinity. The breakfast was excellent!!!

Have stayed here many times, always returning. It’s a grand hotel in traditional - and in this case - beautiful Italian style. The lobby is stunning, the bar too. Huge but still pleasant. The architecture of the whole hotel is interesting. Breakfast very nice, dining too if you feel like going nowhere after a long drive. Often happens to us :)

The room was very spacious nice, clean, and comfortable. Amazing breakfast with a lot of choices, and very good products. Located between the train station and the city center, is close to everything. Also, very quite.

If I have to nitpick the pillows were a bit too stuff, but otherwise, the whole stay was amazing.

Beautiful hotel with an exceptional Saturday morning breakfast that was included in the price of the room. Location is very close to the train station and to the town center which allowed us to tour the town center even though we were very tired from a long flight/train ride.

Needing the room key/card to turn on the lights in the room was not something we were used and could have been better explained by the staff when we checked in.

Hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. This is a hotel that primarily caters to business travelers. Breakfast was very good. wifi was good. Good underground parking. Hotel was well located,we could walk to everything. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. My wife liked the electric teakettle in the room.

From the reception desk to the last look the hotel and service were exceptional. Nothing was a problem for the staff. All staff were customer orientated, smart, knowledgeable And I cannot say enough how they made the whole stay Amazing

There was nothing to dislike at all
