Hotel America

Stayed at this lovely hotel 10 years ago and decided to go back and have a nice evening and Trento, which we definitely did! If you can book an old town-facing room you won't regret it. Looking over the rooftops of the Centro Storico is so pretty!

Since coming here 10 years ago the carpeting furniture beds have definitely aged and everything needs an overhaul. They are really pushing the boundary now of offering good quality for a great price. An interior remodel is an order soon. Everything else about the experience--the staff, bar, restaurant, breakfast is still really wonderful!

Great breakfast, close to station, cheap bistrot, reception very nice, speak english, my second stay here and will come back... named after Amerigo Vespuchi, who Columbus named America after, and he was Italian and he discovered America

Nothing, and the old town is really nice and cheap and awesome pizzas near the castle and they give you free snacks with your beer at the bar in the lane near the hotel in old town and no cover charges

The staff from reception was very friendly and welcoming. I think we got a better room than the one reserved, probably because some modernisation work was being done at the hotel's terrace/cafe at that time. The room and bathroom are large, clean, warm. The bed was comfortable, bed linen and towels were clean and of good quality. The position of the hotel is wonderful.

Rooms are clean, decent-sized, well appointed, and bright. The breakfast is fresh and tasty. The location is right in the middle of the action in Trento. I regret we were only able to stay one night. Additionally, we received the complementary Trento card which gave us free admission to many great facilities and local transportation. What a great deal.

Nothing to dislike. Yes, it was not a five-star hotel, but I did not pay for a five-star hotel.

Excellently located from train station and most tourist spots, very clean and hospitable with a really lovely breakfast

My room was next to the bathroom of the adjoining room so I could hear early morning users - a good pair of ear plugs would however sort the matter

Loved my stay. The hotel let us checked in early, for which we are grateful, and gave us even a better room. The latter was fantastic. The breakfast was great.

I am not a fan of bulky keys opening rooms that one leaves and picks up at the reception. Electronic key cards are much more convenient imo. But this might be just a personal preference.

Lovely spacious and comfortable room and bathroom. Great location close to train station and centre of town.

As there were some works ongoing during our stay, there was no bar service. Otherwise everything was lovely.

The location is great!! The reception on arrival was very welcoming and friendly. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a good selection of items at breakfast. Trento was a lovely surprise and we enjoyed touring around!!

The reception on departure was surly and that feeling unfortunately overshadowed our departure. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful and Trento is stunning.

It's in a great location - a 5-minute walk from the station and right next to the historic centre in the other direction.

There were 2-3 steps down to my room which was not possible to reach any other way. This would not usually be a problem for me but I had a big 20kg suitcase, so it was an unexpected difficulty which did inconvenience me a little.

The breakfast is amazing with a huge array of very fresh options, savory and sweet. You can't beat the location which is right adjacent to the center of town and a two minute walk from the train station. The hotel and rooms are beautiful and very clean. The staff is exceptionally friendly, courteous, and helpful. Without a doubt this hotel is the best option for visiting Trento.

There is extremely limited onsite parking so expect to park in nearby parking garage (two minute walk).
