Hotel Vela

Ok its a bit out of town but there is a bus (no. 6 bus) that goes from right outside the train station to within a few hundred metres of the hotel, so relatively easy to get to. Its a 7 minute ride and quite a pretty one too. Its a fine hotel once you get there and good value compared to the ones in town.

Shower enclosure was small, and not sure the green tiles and bedspreads go with the all pink doors, but as stated for the price we paid its the best value in town so I can live with that. Breakfast was pretty basic, no hot options available just mainly bread and pastries.

The hotel is well equipped and user friendly. Breakfast is quite good. The restaurant is also affordable. Staff is helpful and kind.

Well parking is tight, particularly Saturday evening, although it was manageable. Road to the building is quite narrow, nevertheless Italian one way drive. Unfortunately, first evening I asked for a Grappa in the bar and payed by credit card. The guy took my card to insert in the POS terminal, which I handed it over. I shouldn't. Fortunately, until now the card was not charged illegitimate, but this is an action not permissible (and I did not notice, so it may be my fault, but still he is not allowed to do so)

A wonderful place to stay. The hotel was easy to find and is in an extremely quiet neighborhood. I was able to sleep at night with the window open and no ear plugs. The receptionist was very helpful and spoke wonderful English. There is an elevator to get to the upper floor and the room is quite comfortable. The in-house restaurant was very nice for dinner with great food and reasonable prices with a great waitstaff. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with a nice variety and made to order coffee Parking was great and the WiFi was fast and reliable. 

Very good location if you come by car. Good parking possibilities and good connection to reach the center of Trento by bus. You can eat all your meals easily at the hotel's restaurant, good authentic food for a good price. It's a bit old, but I enjoyed the 70es Charme, better than the usual IKEA future that is the same all over the world. You really feel like you have entered Italy, and that's what you want starting your vacation, right? :-)

Hotel located just minutes away by car from the center of Trento. Very friendly, multilingual staff who anticipated my needs. Parking is open air, well lit and just very few steps away. Room had everything I needed, clean with good bed. It also had a balcony!

While the phonic isolation to the outside is good (some rural disco nearby went on until about 3 in the morning but was inaudible with the balcony closed), you could hear the hallway, especially in the morning.

Everything, from the check in to the checkout was brilliant. The hotel is clean, the price is competitive, and the staff was exceptional and extremely helpful. The restaurant downstairs serves excellent food and drinks as well. They have an English menu on request, and the staff was kind enough to recommend dishes and add ons for me. There is a pretty good breakfast served everyday.

Nothing, everything was top notch.

Free upgrade to a double room. Comfortable bed. Friendly and professional staff. Free parking. Good breakfast with an extra free coffee which wad appreciated. Location didn't matter for an overnight stop, though the area was very quiet. Car park was free and unsecured, though the neighborhood felt very safe.

Provided shampoo wasn't that great. The shower was barely lukewarm even when set at its hottest. Air conditioner didn't do much. This wasn't too much of an issue at the current temperature, but it would have been in july or august.

A quiet place. A possibility to park there (other hotels/pensions in centre of Trento have a problem with parking). A table and a refrigerator in the room. Good for one night (too small room for more nights). A helpful receptionist that recommended us a car park in centre of Trento for a visit of the city centre.

Good breakfast, but we would welcome fresh fruits instead of fruit compote.

The staff was great, rooms were always clean, and the underground parking was very useful. It was fun to be surrounded mostly by Italians :)

Tight parking space, and breakfast was quite good but always the same and without eggs.

For one night stop and if you plan only sleeping in the hotel it is good value for money. Parking is for free. It's clean in the room and bathroom, there is a refrigerator

Smell of cigarettes in the room. Old air conditioner very loud and looks like it needs repair and cleaning. Outdated interior, area outside could be improved to be not welcoming for all guests and not only smokers. It's in Trento but to get to the town center , you need to drive.
