Great quality of the furniture and decorations. Oldies but goldies! Highly appreciated Unfortunately they transformed the reception into breakfast room.. They better cancel the breakfast - which was disappointing anyway - and keep the reception neat. When we arrived we did not really understood where the reception is and why the owners were eating pizza in the hall while receiving guests - us.. Great location.

Excellent little hotel, feels very genuine - like all of Trieste in fact, the rooms are beautiful and spacious in a renovated old building, bed is comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, everything was exquisite. Staff are very kind and ready to help but very discreet at the same time. Provided suggestions for good places to eat which lived up to the expectations. A charming place in a very central location, highly recommended.

There are some flights of stairs to go to the rooms,it was not a problem for us but something to keep in mind.

The room was spotless and spacious, the air conditioning worked very well. The location was perfect, right in the centre of the city. Breakfast was tasty and the staff were very friendly and polite. Each detail of the hotel and the room was carefully thought out. Would definitely come back!

This is a unique property with location, location for Central Trieste. Almost all of the key historic sites are within a short walk. Restaurants, arts and crafts are found within a few hundred meters. Park your car or travel here without a car and enjoy Central Trieste, its harbor and historic sites.

I have nothing to recommend to improve the experience. With time, I hope that the hotel can be retrofitted to improve accessibility. This is a challenge given the era when the hotel was built.

Location was fabulous!!! Few minutes walk to the piazza. The staff were friendly, professional and very accommodating. Communication was always responsive & helpful. The interiors were incredibly stylish, with beautiful paintings & antiques & rooms were larger than normal. Breakfast was pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit & meats n cheese - no hot breakfast served.

The property was exceptional.

Beautifully located directly in the centre. The house itself Is super cozy, clean and the rooms are spacious and beautiful. Take into mind there is no possibility to park so you best walk from the closest parking lot to the hotel (like 8 minutes). We visited middle of june, just before high season. If you visit during high season expect the parking in the centre to be full. The staff is super friendly and helpful and will help you with every question concerning your stay.

A little oasis. If you're looking for a home away from home you are just right here!! Everything was simply perfect. Lovely, helpful staff, excellent breakfast (incredible honey and jam selection), beautifully furnished rooms, great housekeeping. Only thing to mention: for elderly or handicapped people, request a room on the lower floors, as there's no elevator.

we had a big room on the 3rd floor (no elevator, was no problem for us), ist was comfy and super clean (the cleaning lady’s do an amazing job, everyday!). the breakfast was not that big, but I think there is something for everybody, I was very impressed with the jam and honey selection. the staff and owner are all really nice and helpful. the hotel is perfectly located, it is close to the main tourist attractions and there are a lot of restaurants close by.

We stayed in the apartment a bit up the street from the hotel. It was really nice - quite large and the kitchen was well equipped. We liked the decor - lots of nice art work on the walls. And the staff really helped us get a cab to the train station. I would stay there again without hesitation.

The bed could have been a bit more comfortable, but in general the beds in Europe are harder than what I'm used to.

Lovely small hotel. Staff were friendly and the place has a relaxed vibe, more like a b&b. The room was great, comfy bed with good space and a kitchenette. Central location.

The room was a little noisy at times due to facing onto a street with loud mopeds.
