Hotel Vis à Vis

Excellent service received from Head Concierge Ramon, Matthew and other staff of Duchi D Aosta and Hotel Vis a Vis. They went beyond beyond the norm and truly made a difference in our stay. Traveling with my husband and 2 seniors, they made life so much easier. Thank you guys. Best value, excellent location just next to the square and across the cruise terminal, clean, comfortable, breakfast was very good too. Highly recommend!! Will stay again.

Fabulous property .. although it’s technically an annexe to the Duche Hotel, the facilities were more than adequate for our needs. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The concierge offered excellent advice on where to go and what to see. Highly recommended. Central location.. 20 m from the central square.

The keycard didn’t work.. we used a physical key. I believe it’s teething problems with the technology. A minor detail, but worth mentioning.

Great location. High quality decor

We discovered on our last day that the bed mattress cover was badly stained with what appeared to be urine. These stains were over a large area and clearly quite old. The thought that we slept on that for two nights is revolting. Slack house keeping management. Pity because the rest of the hotel was very good.

Breakfast was good / bed and mattress were perfect, resulting in high comfort location is perfect for exploring the cit, particularly the area of the center

Check-in an out was in the hotel opposite side o the street and wasn’t immediately clear. Booking conflation didn’t indicated that as it did not indicate the need to pay for Parking the car. The bathube wasn’t comfortable at all to have a shower , despite the devices present….. very bad design ….

loved the bathroom and the bed was comfy but supportive.

there was an unpleasant food smell.. like baked beans that was nauseating. the concierge put my luggage in the wrong place when I checked out ( a young woman with long straight hair)and it took almost 25 mins for it to be found and I almost missed my train. porters went to their other property to see if someone had taken it to be checked in instead of checked out. the other concierges during my stay were very helpful. the desk in my room was badly stained with peeling paint.

I loved the location of the hotel. It was close to everything and it was like a hidden gem. The staff was very friendly. I could see the city center from my room. Check-in is at the hotel across the street, but it was a smooth check-in process. Someone was available to take my bags to my room. The hotel was very clean and the restaurant's food was amazing.

Very helpful staff, even calling me a cab from the train to the hotel. The hotel felt elegant and the buffet breakfast was wonderful. They recommended a pleasant restaurant close by that as a tourist we may not have found. The hotel is an easy walk to the cruise ship dock.

Nothing really

No breakfast while I was there but I loved loved loved the Illy espresso maker and the free drinks in the mini bar. Staff was wonderful. Suggested I take an umbrella when it was raining and happily gave me a couple extra espresso pods. The staff was so friendly I found myself chatting with them about my day as I went in and out. My sister and her husband stayed at the Savoy around the corner and I thotgat hotel was stuffy and out dated. Vis a vis was beautiful and comfortable

The scented toilet paper was unpleasant. I did not like the scent

Service helped us store our bikes. Great place right at the nice plaza. They refill the minibar for free, which is great. Coke, Fanta, water. I liked that.

Breakfast was good but not superb. Freshly pressed orange juice, good bread. Ham, dauand, cheese, beget.

We very much enjoyed our stay at hotel Duchi Vis a Vis. The hotel is located in the middle of the historic centre and surrounded by many restaurants and cafes. We got really good recommendations for breakfast and dinner opportunities. Also the staff at reception were very supportive in getting reservations done at beach clubs or restaurants. We travelled by car and got a recommendation for a public car park 150 m away from the hotel with reasonable day rates. We definitely would stay in at Duchi Vis a Vis again.
