Ca' San Rocco was a delightful place. It was very clean and well run. Valentina was very helpful, even helped us bring up our suitcases. The room and bathroom were very large and comfortable. The breakfast was good and you can sit in a lovely patio surrounded by plants and flowers to enjoy it. They give you several coffee options, you can choose between American, espresso, cappuccino or macchiato. Loved the location it is located in a mainly residential area, quiet and secure but close to bars and restaurants. Definitely recommend this place and would stay there again if I return to Venice.

This property is gated and super convenient to get to, 10 min walk from train station. Great Host - easy check-in and will provide a map to orient you and provide great recommendations about location of water taxis, reputable gondola rides, what islands to visit, were to eat, and will address any other questions you might have. Rooms are adequate size but air conditioning does not cool the room very well. Our room had two large double windows that we could open for cooling but that also meant the mosquitos can find you. Nice sitting areas outside and the outdoor breakfast patio is beautiful. Typical but tasty European breakfast options. Nicely kept property with attentive Host.

Air Conditioning did not cool the room to desired temp

Short walk from train station. Quiet and convenient location. Room was spacious, comfortable, spotless, and tastefully decorated. Temperature in the room was perfect. We especially enjoyed breakfast on the terrace, tables with elegant linens, served by a very nice lady. Continental breakfast, but there was plenty to eat.

Nothing - we liked everything! (Was not a problem for us, but since the building has no elevator, you must be able to carry your own suitcases 1 - 2 flights.)

The space was great- it had a good sized bed with a small sitting area and a kitchen with the basic amenities. Temperature was well-regulated considering how cold it was outside. The view from the room was quite nice and it had a lovely outdoor space. The location of the place was ideal, many different shops and places to sight see were closeby. The staff were friendly and polite, and check in and check out were really smooth. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This was our 3rd time at the Ca' San Rocco. The location is less than 10 minutes walk from the station and manageable even with suitcases. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was also large with a bath and shower. Everything was spotless. The hotel is in a very quiet location and perfect to return to after a busy day. The breakfast is also ample with something for all tastes, and coffee is served with a big smile!

This is a very wonderful location and beautiful setting. The rooftop patio was delightful for breakfast. Very nice hot water available for shower! Air conditioning adequate

There is no elevator - just a warning if carrying suitcases up stairs is a concern. The beds were a little soft for our taste but adequate. Communication prior to arrival is most important as the staff leaves at 1.00 and it is not possible to enter the gate without proper code.

Situated close to the train station and Piazzale Roma for easy access on arrival. The walk in to St Mark’s Basilica is easy (recommend walking via Ponte dell'Accademia for a quieter route past some nice cafes/bakeries!). We stayed in the rooftop suite with a lovely balcony for afternoon drinks/tea and biscuits. The bed was very comfortable. We were able to leave our luggage in a safe place on the last day while we explored, before heading to the airport.

The price was high per night, compared to other cities, but we booked relatively late and hotel prices are high in Venice in general. The fan was slow to have an impact on cooling the room (but does work, just start early if required!). Breakfast was okay, we would have appreciated some more options (eg. toast), perhaps locally-bought pastry options (rather than pre-packaged) and fresh juice.

Wonderful big and bright room, cosy bed, clean bathroom and nice view. The staff is reall friendly. I arrived in the morning and could leave my luggage there. They cleaned up my room so I could check in earler than 14:00. The area i quiet and not busy, more like an area were people live. Near to the trainstation. Would come back.

No shelf in the shower and no lift.

Great little hotel at a bargain price. Area nice n quiet. Bedroom a reasonable size and traditionally decorated, bathroom had everything you’d expect and very clean. Check in & out seamless. Staff very helpful. Exceeded my expectations for the price and would recommend

Breakfast was a little basic but as expected and you get what you pay for. Not the property’s fault but my own for not having researched more before I booked but it’s a bit of a hike to get to main tourist sites from the hotel given the detours you have to take to cross a bridge, being my first trip to Venice I hadn’t appreciated that. As I said my fault not the property, and the location was actually a bonus in that it was very quiet whereas other areas would have been noisy, especially as Venice was very busy at the weekend.

Firstly, the directions to reach the property were very helpful. As it was my first time in Venice, I really appreciated detailed instructions. Accessing the property was straight forward and a key had been left out as instructed. The room was really nice but the best part was it was really quiet. I slept really well because of this. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property doesn't have many guest rooms so it never felt too busy with too many people. Would recommend.
