The location of the hotel is great as it is relatively near the Santa Lucia Station and Main Island Centre. The room is clean and decorated in an old-fashioned style, which I think added novelty to the hotel and context within Venice. They served a nice simple breakfast which I appreciate because it is a bit of a challenge to find good but affordable food in Venice.

The hotel is within a narrow street where most the of tourists pass by. During the night, it was really noisy as you can hear the people chatting and moving. Thus, this might not be the right hotel for you if you need a room which is dead quiet.

We loved our stay at this traditional style hotel and would absolutely stay here again when next in Venice. We really liked the location- 15 min walk from the train station and in a quieter part of town with lots of great restaurants nearby. Our room was nice and spacious and had good working air conditioning to keep it nice and cool in the summer heat. The best part for us was the breakfast which you could enjoy outside in the beautiful courtyard. We loved all the delicious local pastries and the variety of breakfast foods available. The staff were also very lovely and helpful. Thank you Hotel Tivoli for a wonderful stay!

surprisingly nice and cozy hotel with helping staff and good breakfast. with very beautiful garden. I loved this hotel. will book again in the future❤️ I liked that after checkout the special room was available for our bags, also we could use the toilet and shower which was very kind from the hotel. Great location. only 2 minutes far walking distance from the Railto ferry station❤️

place is little bit dampy therefore lots of mosquitos enter the room. also I found one big beetle and had to kill it🤐.very good point that staff had put some anti mosquito electric device in the drawer, but there are no protective grids on the windows in order to avoid all the insects: mosquitos, lizards etc.. Also there was no Kattle or minibar in the room which would be a biig plus to us. no water bottles. this is some details that other hotels, (among them budget hotels too) normally commonly provide check out time is too early! 10:30)) never seen such early checkouts outside Italy)) so far.

Hotel Tivoli is in a convenient location, only a short stroll to the Grande Canal where water transport is readily available. The friendly staff were extremely helpful, communicating in English, and answering all our questions. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Breakfast was included and was more than adequate for our needs. The court yard was a lovely place to check emails and relax. We very much enjoyed our stay.

A small bar fridge would have been handy to keep food that we bought cold and fresh. As we are on a two-month holiday, our luggage is quite heavy. A lift would have helped, but that would probably detract from the old-world nature of the building. Wifi signal was quite weak in our second-storey room, but again, this did not pose a real problem.

Breakfast was perfect, especially the everyday local specialities that were part of it. It was one of the most clean hotels that we have ever visited, and this includes every single aspect of the building. The Cosy feeling of the room traveled us through time and provided us with a unique experience. It was very close to the train and bus station which is a great plus. The personnel was very polite with us, also the lady in charge of the breakfast was our favorite because she was very caring. Beautiful garden and lot of sightseeing close to the hotel.

A small hotel in the middle of the less touristy Venice, but close to everywhere you need to go. Loved the fact that just round the corner were piazze where Venetians met and where fewer tourists crowded. The room was well appointed, though there could have been more space to lay out clothes. Bed covering was just about ok for the cold April (just two blankets, no duvet). The shower was fine. Breakfast was a sumptuous affair, though we did have to get everything ourselves (no big deal). Staff (family-run?) always friendly and helpful.

The main drawback of the hotel was the noise: walls were paper-thin and every time one of the neighbours did something in their respective bathrooms, we heard. Also, noises from outside carried into the room at quite a volume. The other thing that was not great was the beds: as a couple we would have loved a double, but got two beds pushed together which then had a tendancy to drift apart. Also, the matresses were too soft and after three nights, my back could feel the lack of support. Due to these double drawbacks, my wife slept little over our stay in the hotel, unfortunately.

For one night, the twin room was perfect for our needs - basic but in the heart of Dorsoduro as we wanted to explore the cicchetteria nearby. The lovely shady courtyard with chairs and tables was an unexpected bonus. The twin room & shared bathroom was a little like good hostel accommodation (suited our budget!) but with the benefit of staying in a very sweet, traditionally run small hotel (suited us as we are a little too old to bunk-up with partying backpackers ;-) ). The breakfast was OK for what it was, and seemed especially a good option for families - plenty of familiar things to choose from - and there's plenty of cafes & restaurants nearby.

We absolutely didn't mind the shared bathroom for one night - it was always clean and we never had to wait. But if you are staying longer be aware it's quite small and seems to be shared with a few rooms, and the WC is not separate.

Nice small hotel with cosy rooms, all facilitated, not everything works... good breakfast, nice service, friendly people. No hotel bar but restaurants and bars around the corner, the hotel is located near to Line 1 station. Quiet room towards a small yard, nice bed, very clean and nice atmosphere

The single room they first gave me was too small, was cold and humid, the bathroom likewise, heaters did not work. I froze for one night and wanted to leave but was offered a double-room. the heater in the bathroom did not work either but it was warm in the room itself.

It was a one-night stay in Venice, so we only really slept at the hotel and had breakfast in the morning before catching our train. Overall, a great place for a short stay, the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was tasty (classic Italian). We had a ground-floor room with an en-suite bathroom (I believe all the rooms are equipped with one) and furniture spacious enough to accommodate two people. Regarding the location, there isn't really a bad one in the whole of Venice - it's such a picturesque place that no matter where you stay, there's always something to see.

Nothing that I can recall. The value for money is a little bit of a stretch, I suppose, but it's Venice after all - you can't really come and expect the lowest fares.

Nice quaint little hotel, more of a fusion between BnB and Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is decent in the morning, typical pastries, coffee, juice and some boiled egg. Nothing fancy. Rooms are extremely small. All you can do is sleep. The shower is tiny and barely fit a 6ft person. I guess this is typical of Italian rooms. You don’t see an overweight/oversized person in Italy at all. I cannot imagine an oversized person be able to fit into that shower and close the door. That being said this hotel is in a nice central location in Venice. You can potentially walk to different parts of Venice without taking a water taxi/ water bus.

Other than the size of rooms I do not have anything to complain.
