CityHotel Cristina Vicenza

Location is in close proximity to the train station, 10-15 minute walk into the city centre and has some great eateries close by. The hotel lobby area is great and the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful with recommendations and directions. The rooms are somewhat outdated, but has everything you need. The breakfast was also quite vast; eggs, toast, cereals, yogurts, pastries, coffee machine, fruit, cheese, sliced meats etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at CityHotel Cristina 🙂

Beds were a bit firm. Small tip for the area; avoid walking through the park, in front of the train station, to get to the hotel; walk to the right of the park instead!

Very clean, the linen was changed daily and the cleaning staff did an amazing job. Breakfast was plentiful and catered to a wide range of guests from different countries.

There was nothing to dislike. I was not expecting a five-star hotel and the Cristina was very appropriate for my needs. It was also close to the centre of town and only a short walk to the train station.

Excellent location, a short 15 minute walk to the train station. The breakfast was good, simple no frills but, complete. The room was a nice surprise, comfortable bed, air conditioning that worked well. A big plus for us was a nice long counter top that made working practical. The network was adequate in speed and rock solid.

Door to the bathroom was hard to close.

Very central location, overall decent

unfortunately, we drove and arrived later than expected, we were charged 20 euros/hour late-check-in fee even after notifying them hours before on the phone. According to the staff in the morning, the extra fee was for paying the person to stay and wait for us - given that we had arrived in many hotels late at night many times during our trip, and never been charged a fee, they could have easily arranged something different.

There was no kettle in the room. Room was to the rear of hotel and a little dark.

I am biased towards small Italian hotels, so despite offering less features than their chain brethren, I find them highly enjoyable. Homely and friendly reception, adequate room, no nonsense bathroom, narrow parking, narrow staircase, tiny lift, a quick walk away from town centre, I love it all. Viva Italia :)

Decent breakfast. Clean room. Close to the train station and less than 15 minute walk to the city center, yet quiet street. friendly staff.

Room on a small side, but I knew it before booking. As long as you calibrate your expectations that this is a 3 star hotel, everything should be fine.

Location, proximity the downtown at walking distance, and that it has it's own parking within the property. Breakfast is excellent and a feature you can request

The elevator is very small, for just 2 people and we were traveling with an infant, so I wish we could have been assigned a room on the ground floor so it was easier to go in and out.

Great location being only a few metres from the old city wall. We were able to store our bikes on facility. Room very basic but bed comfortable and room and facilities clean. Great breakfast including hot food, was a bonus. Great value for money.

The lift was very small but wasn’t an issue.

Good location! The staff was very friendly and the room was quiet. I got a delicious breakfast buffet and good cappuccino. They have espresso and cappuccino not just regular coffee. If you want to visit Venice or Verona you should stay in this hotel in Vicenza because it is much cheaper than in Verona and Venice! By the way the train connection to Verona and Venice is perfect.
