Comfort Hotel Hakata

I liked having two twin beds so my daughter and I could sleep comfortably. Room temperature was perfect. Nice and cool for sleeping. It was also very quiet. Everything other than the below was fine. The bed was firm the way I like it but my daughter found it too firm so a 50/50 for that. The subway was close by so excellent for getting around. Staff were very helpful and friendly!

The pillow was quite thin so I had to put my jacket underneath to make it thicker. No idea if extra pillows were available though. Sadly there was a funny smell in our bathroom so we had to keep the door closed.

it’s very convenient, just across the road from Hakata station. We checked the schedule for the bus going to the Fukuoka international terminal and only needed to leave the hotel 15min ahead of the time to catch the bus. The hotel is connected to the Hakata station via underground walkways and you can find plenty of food options here too. The price of the hotel also included breakfast, which is simple but good. The cafe also provides hot beverages throughout the day so we were able to get a hot drink when we arrived on a cold and rainy night.

The room was quite small so moving around the room was a little tricky with the two of us having to go around each other all the time.

Breakfast is free and much more than continental breakfast. You have fresh coffee from machine, freshly blended fruit juices, fruits, salads, cereals, 3 to 4 types cooked food, soup, buns, wafer etc. Location is superb. Bus terminal, train and subway just opposite the road. Plenty of shopping and eateries. Single Bed size bigger than suppler single and very comfortable. Tatami room is huge estimate 1.5 times standard room

Bottled water provided will be a plus, handles in bathrooms to get in and out of bathtub will be helpful. Room cleaning can be more meticulious. No English programs on TV

The breakfast was good. The location was good. There were laundry facilities. The lockers in the lobby were helpful in storing suitcases and hand carries.

There could have been more softer pillows. I got an extra one which helped. I couldn’t figure out how to set the alarm. They ran out of margarine at breakfast. There could have been coupons for attractions and restaurants.

Free breakfast was awesome. Would be great to change it every other day. Staffs are so polite and helpful. Free coffee/drinks. Really affordable considering how close it is to Hakata Station.

The beds are a little hard. Carpet old too which caused allergies.

Perfect central base to start and finish our trip around Kyushu. Every form of shop and restaurant that you could desire. Close to Shinkansen, Subway and car pickup.

Location was great - directly opposite Hakata station. Complimentary breakfast was simple yet enough mix of hot and cold options. Rooms were basic however this isn't a luxury hotel. We chose it due to the room size - over 30sm for 2 adults and 2 children.

This is the prime location for tourist, located next to the Hakata station. You could also leave your baggage at the lobby before check-in time. Food in neighborhood is also good & various.

The bathroom is quite a little bit small.

location is the main reason to choose this hotel it is very good compared to the price you pay if u don't expect much, this hotel is very good for just stay when u are traveling around Fukuoka.

the cleanliness is not perfect but not bothering me

Hotel is near by the station , it just take 2 mins from station to hotel.

The facility is old, and the toilet was dirty when we stay.
