HOTEL FORZA HAKATA-GUCHI

- Great location, close to Hakata train station, a few minutes walk. - Comfy bed. - Very good air con. The room also included a humidifier. - Silent location (virtually no noise from adjecent rooms, no noise from corridor, no noise from the outside), so I had no problems sleeping during the night. - Attentive staff. - Clean and tidy room.

- The wifi connection was somewhat unstable with several disconnection issues.

It is conveniently located next to the train station. So a perfect location to do trips from there. The service was good, they offer breakfast as well which is nice. And enought to get a day started. The rooms have a decent size, everything is convenient and very clean.

There isn't much I would have wanted more. It offered what it sais it offers. And you get what you paid for. A decent, nice hotel in a good location with all the service, comfort and cleanliness you need.

“Nice staffs and Good location ” The room is small but enough for 2 adults and 1 child. The carpets in the rooms and corridors are old and unclean. The air conditioner is so cold that I have to change the direction of sleeping. There are 2 washing machines, 2 dryers. Front staffs have service mind, polite, very good location, near Hakata station just across the road. (1 minute) and walking distance to canal Hakata within 10-15 minutes, next to 7-11, near Orix rental car company, about 50 meters. You can rent a car there easily and conveniently. If I come back to Fukuoka, this place is still my 1st choice.

Breakfast is delicious and various. More japanese style but also have some western style like bread. The bed is really comfortable. It is hard enough to support your body. The location is perfect. Very close to Hakata station so it makes transportation really convenient. Can get hotel via various exit. West 15 and P7 (have to walk inside the department store building)are with elevator.

I ordered double room but the space is smaller than I expected. I will suggest twin bed room, you just need to pay a little bit more and the space is a lot larger.

Rooms were clean and well-fitted. We loved the free coffee/hot chocolate machine in the lobby. There are additional amenities in the lobby if you want them (e.g., comb, bath salts, moisturiser), which were a nice touch. The lobby is modern and the location of the hotel is not very far from the main train and bus stations. Lots of food and shopping options nearby.

As is usual in Japan, the rooms are VERY compact - it was hard to open up your luggage properly. It was nice that they provided a massage pillow, but I think ours was broken because depending on which way it faced, you either felt nothing or it was painfully hard - but, to be fair, we didn't raise this issue or request another one.

Good location across from Hakata Station along a side street. Room was efficient with a view out onto the back street. The breakfast next to the lobby was quite impressive with a good selection of items from Japanese to western type foods. I enjoyed their Japanese breakfast. Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful.

Although the hotel was located across from Hakata Staton, it was a little hard to find in the back, but once you found it, it was okay.

For the value of the hotel, this hotel has very good space in the room compared to the same value of hotels. Very clean and kind stuff, all need amenities are set. Only the location in Hakata, this hotel has Hakata-guchi and Tsukushi-guchi which are completely opposite side. Nothing wrong with the hotel, but because of the Hakata station is so big walking with luggage back and forth was a little hard. As long as you don't make such a mistake, the hotel is located good near station.

I recently stayed at HOTEL FORZA HAKATA-GUCHI during my trip to Japan and had an amazing experience. The hotel was a short walk from the station, and a quick bus/taxi ride to the convention center. There are hundreds of shops, restaurants, and bars, so plenty to choose from. If you're a drinker/izakaya-hopper, you'll be in heaven! There was a big Christmas market in front of the station, which was icing on the cake. The hotel was very clean, and the room, although small, was comfortable. I usually complain about the pillows, but they were the most comfortable (although still uncomfortable) pillows I've encountered at a hotel without special-ordering one.

The light from the thermostat is blindingly bright. This is not the hotel's fault, so it's not really a minus. I had to get creative (again), though, and make a cover with some "Garbage" stickers they give you.
