Beautiful, setting, short and flat walk to El Centro, beautiful park literally across the street. Friendly staff, comfortable bed. Good drinks and breakfast.

I did suggest that rather than putting bottled water in the room that they provide a filling station and a glass carafe with glasses in the room or something like that. Also need dispensers of shampoo, etc. rather than individual plastic bottles.

Staff was always very friendly and accomodating, better maintenance would be suggested but in general very nice place. Breakfast buffet was very good and seems to be a common stop for locals sunday brunch.

Tres Fuentes Hotel Boutique is an excellent choice for staying near downtown. Yes, as others mentioned, it is not right by the plaza, but a 3 block steep up hill walk or a quick $50 pesos Uber or Taxi drive. The owner, Mari Carmen, is a nice lady who takes care of every detail at the house and serving her customers. She recommended 2 great upscale restaurants and made sure we got reservations last minute. La Única and Antonia Bistro (great view). Yes, as others mentioned, there is no personal key for the room. The staff takes care of locking and unlocking the doors for you. And that didn’t bother us, the house is safe and the staff very attentive. The cleaning of the rooms is done upon request and they provide Lysol and antibacterial gel in the room. We stayed at the Swarovski suite. The pictures online are pretty, but being in the room is something else. The decoration and design of the room is amazing. Consider the house is 50+ years old and you will find architecture details from different eras. The design and decoration in the bathroom makes you feel you are in the Toscana. The room has a front view to the Benito Juárez Park, and two private patios. One with a patio dinning table which I used in the morning as a working station. Your zoom calls will have an excellent garden view as a background. The grounds and gardens in and around the house are magnificent. Breakfast is delicious with a huge variety of options to include eggs upon request. They make their own fig jelly and it’s just something else. We will stay here again.

Just a couple of issues the WiFi connection and two staff members, the Barman and the guard at night, who wouldn’t wear the face covering. All these can be resolved by the owner if she has a direct talk with her staff to ensure they follow the protocol. The WiFi issue was probably out of their control but a good IT professional should be able to address those issues. We were told the issue was widespread in SMA but when we visited the restaurant at night, they had internet. So it makes me think the issue was isolated to the Tres Fuentes Hotel.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting San Miguel.

There was no restaurant open after 5pm on a Saturday night. Also no coffee or tea equipment in the room

The location was super, it was also nice & quiet. the outdoor space was very pretty.

We were given a different room than the one pictured when I booked. The bathroom toilet had a plastic seat thst did not fit & it was so uncomfortable. No information was provided to us about breakfast, it was a mystery for us to solve. A man going around around 12 midnight with a flash light, both nights & no info was told to us about that…it made us uneasy. So much microfiber…blankets & such…icky & weird fabric that makes you overheat, yuck. Terrible, dated decor. Just an overall strange vibe with the owner.
