the setting of this resort-hotel is amazing! the backdrop of the jungle of the Sierra Madre Mountains across the street and Banderas Bay view feet away off your balcony was beautiful! the beach is a perfect blend of sand and some rocks. The staff was ALWAYS friendly and ready to do basically anything to accommodate! ALEJANDRO was the best server whether we needed chairs or umbrellas on the beach or suggestions for drinks or dessert and he even delivered our room service once! From the concierge to the housekeeper they all get 5-stars! I also mention the ZOO! it’s definitely worth a quick 15 minute taxi! Pay the extra to interact after touring the other animals and you’ll be treated to holding baby tigers-lions-lemur even a python! can’t say enough good things!

The location is beautiful, right on the beach with amazing views. The beach itself is not the greatest, it is small and only usable during low tide. When you can get out into the water, there are lots of fish to see in the little sheltered lagoon area, it was a great easy snorkeling experience for the kids! The hotel is very clean and nice, only drawback is it is not walking distance to anything else so you must take a bus or taxi to go anywhere. The staff of the hotel were wonderful, especially Elena with concierge and Carlos with tour bookings. Elena and Carlos treated my kids and I like family, I cannot say enough wonderful things about them! The pool was great, very warm which was perfect for cool nights when the ocean was too chilly to swim in. The restaurant was delicious but a little pricey for us. Most of the guests were retirement age, not a lot of kids there which can be a good thing or bad thing depending on what kind of vacation you're looking for! The hotel was pretty quiet at night which we appreciated; however road noise is quite loud and made difficult to sleep so pack a sound machine if you can. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you want a relaxing and quiet place to enjoy Puerto Vallarta.

Room was good although not the one we booked. Magnificent ocean views. Staff were excellent, couldn't have done more. Location a little remote although taxis were readily available and inexpensive, Restaurant and pool areas exceeded our expectations. Food and entertainment very good. Hotel quite empty, good for us, not so for them.

The deluxe room we booked was not available due to an air conditioning fault (we didn't believe that either). However allocated room was fine and adequate compensation was made. The loungers on the private beach were terrible and need replacing.

The location of this resort is a bit further from the airport; however, 100% worth it! The room was very spacious, full kitchen, stocked with plates, cups, and utensils. Our room overlooked the private beach and it was absolutely beautiful! Getting around, we used Uber and they were always within 10 minutes of arrival. Travel time to the boardwalk, Romantica Zone, etc. were usually 15-20 minutes. The staff was extremely helpful and always a pleasure to speak to. They do have a store at the resort that is stocked with almost everything you may need if you left something behind or wanted snacks/drinks.

Nice place to stay with a family. Clean pool. Nice fater front.

Avoid to the promotional share meeting. It could steal about 3 hours of your vacation fun 😁.

Although you will see this property is a bit older, you will quickly find the charm and service makes up for that. The beach is small with a rock wall that allows great snorkeling without fear of being drug out to sea. The restaurants are exceptional and the wait staff are above amazing. Raul made us feel like old friends after the very first time we met him. Truthfully the entire staff catered to you from the moment you walked in.

The restaurant prices were a bit high and you had to have transportation to go into town. But their were always buses, taxis and Ubers readily available.

Everything specially the staff. Raul from the restaurant WAS THE BEST!!! Outstanding customer service attention to detail. What makes this place super special is the staff, in addition to that I would say the private beach, great location, the sound of the waves is soothing, great food served in the restaurant. Another plus are the owners, my family and I got to meet them and we happened to be staying there while they were both there. Ken and his sister are so amazing I can say they truly care about your experience as a customer of theirs. We are definitely going back. However I’d like to make it a point to say again that Raul from the restaurant was amazing and has amazing customer service. We will be booking our next trip there soon along with several more of our family members.

There is only 1 restaurant and its mediocre at best. 1 pool that gets sunshine and it gets oacked. Pool water was hot during our stay in March. we did have some items stolen from our room by housekeeping. Nothing of great value. Staff didnt seem overly concerned.

The staff was very attentive and aware. I felt extremely safe in the resort. The resort was very clean. Anything I needed was made available. I was extremely impressed when I left, and the staff provided information to the taxi to ensure I arrived safely at my destination. When I returned, I was always welcomed "home". Nice touch! The store in the resort had a great selection if groceries: snacks, water, eggs, cheese, coffee, alcohol, fresh fruit, bread, sandwich meat etc..

Loved the one bedroom unit which had a separate living area and full kitchen (like a small apartment). Very comfortable for a long stay. Best views in PV from the balcony, right on the water. Excellent food and service from all the staff. Easy to get a cheap taxi into Centro.

Be aware that this hotel is literally right on the road, so traffic noise is a factor 24 hours a day. Bedrooms in the units in Building 2 are the closest to the road (the living room/dining areas of the units overlook the water). Wifi was so-so the first half of our long stay, and almost non-existent the last week+ of our stay.
