Galeria Plaza San Jeronimo

The Galeria Plaza San Jeronimo was an excellent hotel. The overall hotel left a great and very modern impression. The room was also even nicer than I had imagined from the pictures. The size of the room was great and the bed extremely comfortable. The bathroom felt luxurious. The buffet breakfast offered great value for money and provided delicious food, with more Mexican options and more 'Continental' options. We also visited the rooftop bar and the waiters there were on top of their game and supported us as a large group in an extremely friendly and efficient manner. Drinks were good and generous; food options were decent for a bar.

The staff at reception and the concierge were ok for basic requests. While they still answered questions or helped with things that exceeded day-to-day items like checking-in, they seemed to have been a annoyed by anything else (even getting laundry done).

Everything! The hotel has beautiful views of the greener side of Mexico city. It is super close to Six Flags and the beautiful town of Coyoacán where Frida Kahlos home is. It's also minutes from the famous ARTZ mall which is easily the fanciest mall I have ever seen in the Western Hemisphere! We stayed on the fifth floor and had access to daily snacks and canapes so that we could enjoy food for free daily. The breakfast buffets were divine and the Italian coffee capsules are memorable!!!!

San Jerónimo is 20-22min in an Uber away from the downtown so the distance was the only thing but with ubers we managed to move around with ease alllll over Mexico City for not such a high cost.

The breakfast was very good in a lovely setting. However, they can expand and offer a wider variety. The staff was awesome! I loved how spacious the room was. The layout of the room and ultra modern features and everything with sensor .touch. Great View. My favorite was the rooftop pool 360 view of Mexico City and the jacuzzi and restaurant. What a view honestly. Lovely weather. The reception staff was great too, Antonio two other gentlemen I can not recall names but fast and efficient as soon as you call the concierge that is quite amicable in helping you have the best stay possible. Also nearby within walking distance Starbucks, le Pain Quotidien, Globo bakery and a pharmacy.

I was very pleased. Very modern and spacious rooms, great view. Everything with sensors super modern. My only caveat was the extra security, you couldn't visit one floor just your floor and the shared amenities. since we were a group many of us were on different floors, but I understand. The entrance for the ubers/taxi to the hotel is not the most accessible a bit weird in design. Overall a 5 star stay and 5 stars for the staff.

roof top staff excellent. the manager the first night on the roof top lent us ponchos to keep warm ( we did return them!). the second day my sister left her watch on the lounger and a member of staff found it and handed it in ( showed great honesty and was very much appreciated). Alain ( reception staff) was also very helpful sorting out a late check out for us as compensation for my sister not having two double beds as booked. he even came up to the roof top to find us to let us know. the restaurant food in the evening was also very good.

good location, with groceries and restaurants at walking distance, also main roads easily accessible. Pool and gym a nice plus.

Not entirely clear the 41 m2 rooms offered with living room are actually not so, but a slightly larger room than the standard. we wanted a separate area for a baby bed but once it was installed felt quite busy, so I would not recommend it for a family that wishes to place a cot. A second point is the breakfast. The American breakfast offered is ok but gets monotonous after two days given the limited choice. We noticed the low occupancy of the hotel influenced the extend of choice at breakfast, so if you happen to go when it’s not empty, choice for breakfast may be more appealing. Finally a minor point: floor was quite irregular nearby the bathroom door, so the sliding door was always going back open. could fix it with a bag to stop the door but thought the door should stay closed!

The hotel has a great location and amenities. The stuff was very nice and caring. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We used the rooftop pool and gym and were very satisfied.

The cleaning service in the rooms sometimes came very late in the afternoon, so we had to skip it a few days, but apart from that all good.

Great location in the south of the city, great views and very secure access.

The Uber and the cabs had to validate a parking ticket so it wasn’t easy to get them to pick you up inside the parking area.

The hotel was difficult to access as there is no road to the front lobby. You have to access behind a shopping center or from a side road. I suppose Covid is the excuse, but everything was closed, the bar, the gym, the restaurant. Yet, I was charged a full price as if all amenities would be accessible. I will not be back.

The breakfast was delicious! Rooms were very spacious perfect location👌🏽

Only thing my family and I did not like was the see thru shower in the bathroom. But we just put a blanket on the outside so you could not see into the bathroom

only one pod of coffee per day per person in the room!! that is ridiculous. any hotel has few tea bags and coffee sachets with kettle/ coffee maker. on requesting a second pod of coffee in the evening we were told we cant have anymore!! who does the rationing on coffee in room in a 5star hotel!!
