Omg! I can’t say enough great things about Casa Kuaa honestly. The communication from staff prior to arrival was A+. The facility itself is absolutely gorgeous. Private pools, private balconies, and a bar on the beach. The staff here is absolutely incredible. Everyone was so so so kind. Plus, kittens running around saying hello was unreal! I would not stay anywhere else in Puerto Escondido. Breakfast and drinks at their bar was delicious as well. Thank you to Jamil and the lady’s at the bar. It was quiet, comfortable, and beautiful. 10/10 recommend to anyone going to PE.

Zero Complaints, no joke.

I can't recommend Casa Kuaa enough. We stayed in a suite, room 6, had a view of the ocean and pool, and everything we could need. They provide a big jug of water in the room, a lovely place to hang clothes, cleaned the room perfectly every day and made us feel so welcome. Bed was super comfortable! AC cooled the rooms very well! We loved sitting on our little patio listening to the waves, swimming in the pool, watching the sunset, having breakfast in the morning, and drinks at the bar in the afternoon. It's a 2 minute walk around the corner to plenty of restaurants and bars, yet peaceful and quiet. Construction on another hotel is happening on the opposite side of the street, but with the breeze, the sound of the waves, and gorgeous landscaping everywhere, we barely noticed. The rooms with an ocean view would probably be quietest in terms of construction right now. This was one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in and truly plan to come back.

The location of Casa Kuaa is amazing, right in the village and yet on the beach, which was fairly empty. You have a feeling of seclusion when you sit by the pool under the palm trees and look out on the ocean. And yet you are one minute from the main street where all the action is. Our room was large and had a nice terrace, there were also two cats who hung out with us. The people who work at CK are all very sweet and helpful. Zicatela offers an incredible amount and variety of excellent restaurants from Korean BBQ to traditional Japanese, all variations of Mexican and even a little craft beer brewery. We are spoiled New Yorkers, but there was so much excellent food in this tiny town!

The food at Casa Kuaa is essentially non existent. Is this by design because there are so many fantastic options nearby? This is not CK's fault, but there is currently a lot of construction on the block. Fortunately the waves are very loud.

-amazing location: walkable to everything in la punta, and a very quick cab ride to Zicatela -new facilities with stylish décor and furnishings -great access to a private area of the beach with minimal peddlers -comfy beds -working AC -they had our room ready for us and decorated for my birthday even though we arrived very early -security and maintenance staff were very friendly

-service at the beach bar was slow and inattentive -there weren't any "do not disturb" signs to put up, so trying to sleep in got interrupted by housekeeping trying to come in and clean the rooms

I loved Casa Kuaa! It was by far the best hotel I have stayed at in Puerto Escondido. The rooms are clean, comfortable, well-lit, tastefully decorated, with great location right on the beach and far enough from the noise of the main street to sleep at night yet close enough to walk to the restaurants and shops. There are surf racks and you can just step out to the beach and look left to check conditions at La Punta surf break. Each room has a porch or terrace that overlooks either the ocean or the beautifully landscaped garden and pool. The internet works great - it reaches all the way to the hammocks and lounge chairs on the beach. I was able to do video calls in the hammock! The lobby has tables and chairs you can work or eat on. There is filtered water provided there. The staff are all gracious and friendly. Telesflora fetched me a spoon to eat my cake with. The concierge called a cab for me and helped me carry my luggage. The bartender put bandages on my back after I hit the reef while surfing. Overall, the hotel was fantastic. I wish I could live here. I wonder if they have long-term stay rates...

In the hammock area around dusk/sunset, there are mosquitos and little flies that come out and try to land in your eyes. The price is also steeper than I expected for Mexico. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that it costs 400 MXN per person for a guest pass to use the facilities (pool, volleyball net, hammocks, beach chairs) at the beach club. It was a little embarrassing to invite some friends over only to have some blond woman who works there hurry over to tell them in a brusque manner that they can't hang out with me unless they pay.

Very beautiful garden and facilities constructed with a lot of love for the details. Rooms were extremely clean! The hotel is very close to many restaurants in La Punta.

Most of the rooms don‘t have an ocean view, which is the reason why it is quite dark in the rooms. Breakfast is not included what could be expected for that price. You can have breakfast at their bar but it is expensive compared to what you get in the restaurants close by.

Great room, well designed, spacious, AC, comfortable bed, good shower. Facilities are great, pool, beach access and sunbeds, hammocks. Fast internet. Friendly staff. Good food in beach cafe.

breakfast included in price would be a great option. A group of guest were very loud, with their own music - monopolising the common areas. Staff at the beach cafe a little sleepy, but food was good.

The property is beautiful, in a great location, and always spotless. The rooms were spacious, bright, and very clean, too! Casa Kuaa is such a beautifully designed beach stay.

There are limited shaded lounging pool chairs and so guests wake up early and claim them with their towels all day, even when they’re not using them for hours at a time. There needs to be more pool lounge chairs and more shaded umbrellas/areas. The mattresses were very uncomfortable.

This is a little tropical paradise! It’s beach front and still close to lots of nice restaurants and bars. Everything is very clean and the place is well maintained. We liked that they provide refill water which we find more eco friendly. Also the shower gels in the bathroom are amazing! The staff was welcoming and lovely. We were not disturbed by the contraction noise which some people complained about in the reviews.

The property is pretty new! You can tell buy the fresh paint and well put together facilities. I enjoy the pool the most, sitting down by the hamacas was very nice to relax after swimming.

There were 2 things that didn’t make me enjoy the place at full. (This doesn’t mean it will be an inconvenient for you.) 1- The room Vico (correct me if I spelled it wrong) has a window same level with the toilet 🤔 and it was really uncomfortable for me because whoever walk that way was able to see me! (At least add a curtain.) see photo of the window. 2- Refrigerator, I do believe it was essential to have a mini refrigerator or cooler in the room to keep the beverages cold because the heat was so intense in Puerto.
