Hotel & Suites Arges - Centro Chetumal

The rooms definitely look better in pictures than in reality, the walls are rather dirty but everything was relatively working so for one night it was ok. I think you get what you pay for in this price range.

The location was very strange, in centre, easy to walk to the sea side but there was no bar / restaurant / place to buy beer at all, we were walking around without being able to find anything open where to eat. Also far from ADO bus, we had to take taxi for 50 pesos. Walls are thin, we heard everything from the room next to as well as when people being noisy outside their rooms.

I love the family room and the elevator. The room was quiet and we sleep very good. The front desk was bilingual and very friendly. The atmosphere was welcoming. The rooms had television, comfortable beds and seating arrangements.

The room needed a refrigerator. We found hair on the floor. Please ensure that the cleaners double check the rooms. The hot and cold shower was not working in the morning. The pool had some dead flies and leaves. Please clean it more often. Thanks

we were just passing through on the way to Belize so it was a quick stop and we arrived pretty late (11pm) but the staff at the hotel were amazing, so friendly and helpful and there was a restaurant attached to the hotel where we got brekkie. our room was massive with 2 double beds and a big spacious bathroom. was very clean

trip was too short so didn’t really see anywhere we didn’t like

The price was different than what was offered in the Booking post

all the staff were really friendly and helpful. my room was cleaned daily. the location was good .Overall I had a very pleasant stay. I have booked another night on my way back up north in a couple of weeks.

The restraint was a bit hit and miss on service but the food was delicious.

The staff spoke English and were very helpful. The room we were in is spacious and comfortable. The location is great; an easy walk to everything. Sadly, Chetumal was largely closed down during our stay, but the malecon was busy and restaurants there were open for business. I can imagine this would be a great destination in normal times.

Unfortunately, there is a briny smell here that was unpleasant. However, I don't think that the hotel can do anything about it. We think the plumbing is fed partly by seawater, which creates the smell. The rooms could use some color and character, but are clean and big.

Good location in the center of Chetumal, good value for money, and a very spacious room. Staff were reliable and friendly.

Nothing in particular to criticize. The room was a bit bare-bones but completely reasonable at this price .

Room was really spacious and bright, with good airflow, comfy bed, nice bedding. Staff are all courteous and professional. Right in city centre within walking distance of all amenities - bus station, market, shops, restaurants, seaside, ferries, etc.

No biggie, but the pool was closed throughout my stay. Also only had cold water in the shower (though that may not always be the case).

Large room, great king size bed, excellent wifi, wonderful location, good hot water, 24 hour desk and a tv that actually works...its a real hotel close to everything in chetumal

Other guests can be noisy, but I was there during Semana Santa

The hotel has improved it's facilities from last time I stayed there. I would recommend them. Rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant staff is very nice and the food is good.

The rooms aren't sound proof and the front desk/receptionist could be more helpful and attentive. Other than that the experience is good.
