Hacienda Del Caribe Hotel

The location - if you want to be close to everything, the bus terminal, the main tourist shopping street, bars and restaurants, the city beach. However, if you need a more relaxed place, this would probably not be a good option for you as you will be in the center of a constantly buzzing, party area. The interior was rather sweet - with colourful wooden furniture.

It was a bit noisy due to the very central location and the many bars around.

Great location. Loved the old mexican style decor. We had a balcony room on second floor. It was great. Our friends had one on third floor. There room was really nice. A little bigger then ours. The pool was refreshing. Coffee maker in room, but you have to bring your own coffee. Other wise, nearest coffee is one block up at oxxo. That is if you want one before 8 am. The beach is one block from the hotel. It was great to go relax in the evening with a beer in hand, ocean breeze on our faces. Parking is 2 blocks up. We will definitely book there again.

No parking for the hotel. Paying for parking was around 300 pesos. It is a 24 hour one, though. We probably could of found parking somewhere on the street, but would of had to walk farther. Our A/C unit leaked water on the floor and we had to keep a towel there. The fan was really squeaky, so couldn't run it while sleeping.

We arrived earlier than check-in time, and out room wasn't ready. Instead of asking us to wait -- as most hotels would -- they gave us a room that was ready, and it was a nicer one, with a balcony! Lots of light, great shower. Downstairs is a courtyard with a plunge pool.

Pillows were terrible - large rectangular blocks of hard foam or something. Also WiFi was very slow. No water, no kettle, no fridge. A few simple and cheap changes would make this lovely room a lot more liveable.

Really nice hotel. All marks are ticked: the location is perfect, right in the centre, close to the beach, very close to ADO busstation, and still it manages to be quiet, with no noise problems whatsoever. The hotel looks very nice both outside as inside, with the rooms facing a beautiful courtyard with small swimming pool. The affordable rooms themselves are very spacious and clean, with relatively good beds and modern and quiet airco's. The staff speaks English and is (very) friendly. I might be overselling this, but we did like this hotel very much.

I am 1.92m long, and as with all hotels that we visited in our stay in Mexico, the beds in this hotel were a bit too short for me. It seemed this hotel is popular among Dutch people during our stay, and the Dutch are tall people. When to hotel invests in longer beds, they would make their taller clientele very happy!

The hotel is in a great location close to 5th avenue and to the ferry. Hotel desk staff were nice and there is a watchman, so the hotel felt safe and secure. The interior pool was well maintained and clean. Our room on the first floor did not seem noisy even though the hotel is close to a busy street with bars and restaurants. The bed was comfortable. We were provided towels for using at the beach when we requested them at the desk..

My husband noticed a lack of towel bars in the bathroom and though the hotel provided two bath towels and a bath mat there were no washcloths or hand towels.

Excellent location! Just around the corner from 5th avenue. Around the block from ADO bus station. Everything is within walking distance. Beach is a block away. Restaurants, Bars/Clubs and Shops all within feet from hotel entrance. Nice big clean rooms. Our room had a small balcony with a chair to sit in which was nice. No elevator. No fridge/Microwave. No TVs. No phones. We didn't mind as we were only in our room to sleep. We had a late departure so they allowed us to leave our luggage at front desk after checkout.

Booked 3 rooms for 9 adults and rooms were only prepared with 2 towels. Had to request additional towels everyday. We had a late arrival so nobody was at front desk when we arrived. Had to wait for a person over 30 minutes to get checked in.

We stayed here only for a night to catch our ferry to Cozumel Highly recommend this space if you're taking a bus from Cancun to Playa and have had a long travelling journey, it's right next to the station, super comfy and close to the lively markets and ferry point.

Very nice hotel! Great location, very close to the beach, all the restaurants and the ADO bus station. The staff was super friendly and watched my stuff until I was able to check in. The room was big and clean and the shower was great. The pool was also really nice!

So conveniently located to the ADO bus terminal and restaurants and beach.Affordable! We dropped off our bags and they had security onsite. what a welcoming place and so charming too!

the windows somehow open up so that I can hear the workers in the kitchen or somewhere below. can be loud. however the courtyard is beautiful and the quaint pool offers a fresh dip on a hot day.
