Hotel Nautilus

The location is close to Quinta Avenida but far enough to not hear all the noise and loud music (although the square close by can get a bit lovely /noisy, especially on weekends). The room is spacious and had a balcony, AC worked well, the shower was great. Free coffee available in the lobby + filtered water. Close to lots of restaurants and cafes.

Disappointing that breakfast is not available at the property. There is also no elevator so be prepared to take up luggage via stairs. Bed sheets were a bit worn. No refrigerator in the room and wasn’t sure how to work the safe/if it even worked.

Very good located close to the beach, park, city centre, restaurants, big supermarket, bus station, ferry: all on walking distance. Nice and helpful staff and good, regular cleaning. We loved the pool especially as our terrace bordered the pool. Room itself also fine. Fresh coffee in the morning and a water machine with cold and hot water.

It was difficult to set the temperature of the shower (water was hot though). Stone benches on the terrace are not very comfortable to sit on for a long time, pillows on them would be nice.

This hotel is in a perfect location. Far from the noise of the clubs and bars yet a short and lovely walk to all that you need. Close to both the ADO bus stations. There’a water cooker and the hotel is clean clean clean! The staff are incredibly lovely and warm, one of them actually accompanied me to the supermarket nearby where I had an issue with the SIM I bought there. It had nothing to do with the hotel but she just helped me out. How amazing is that?!

The location, size of the room and balcony were excellent.

When we arrived we realized the toilet is clogged. the cleaning ladies surely should have noticed, but it’s unclear why they haven’t fixed it. Soon after we alerted the reception, the guy came and fixed it… only to get clogged again the next week evening (and no, we didn’t clog it). We noticed some orange stains on the towels and when we went to return them and ask for clean ones we were told it’s ok, it’s just rust. But they did exchange them and the next day gave us brand new ones

A great hotel in the middle of the town. Despite being very central, it's reasonably quiet (though we did have some individuals making some noise, but this can't be blamed on the hotel). The room was huge, with a big double bed, kitchen area and living space. The A/C worked well too, and the bathroom was fine. We didn't try the pool but it looked nice.

Good location, welcoming staff, spacious rooms, very clean. Free filter coffee available at reception.

- Shower tap was broken, so I only had hot water (thankfully wasn't boiling). - Poor noise isolation. Depending on a room, your windows may face the street and sometimes it is rowdy.

Clean room, friendly staff, would come again and again

sometime other tourists are loud in the nighttime because of alcohol and party, but I think it's everywhere in the centre of playa del carmen

Modern and clean room. Wifi very good. Really good shower! Overall a great stay, close to all amenities, the bus station and the beach is a short walk.

A bit noisy on the street at night, but it didnt stop us sleeping. We only stayed 1 night so can't say if the noise is a regular thing!

Hotel is located close to 5ht avenue but not direct on noisy street. Bed was very comfortable. Room was daily cleaned and towels changed.

Code for wi-fi access is given for one or two days and you need to ask for me one of you are staying longer ;)
