The staff they had was exceptional. Very polite, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and more. Special shout out to Omar and Vicente (not sure of the spelling.) Great planned activities. Food was good, enough variety, good selection from room service.

Under staffed, restaurants closed on certain days. The floor in our room needed better cleaning. Better consistency; towels, 1 day we had 6, then 4, then 3. Some days we got turn down service, some days not. Some days they filled the mini bar, others they didn't.

The staff treats you like ROYALTY! EVERY encounter was genuinely spectacular and because of the staff alone, I will be returning. I’m fact, I ran into several guests who had been on their second, third, and sixth stay at this resort. The property itself is very nice and they work hard to keep it clean and beautiful. The complementary bottle of tequila in the room was a welcomed surprise. And yes, they actually restock the mini bar daily. The food in the buffet was the best food at the resort! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner here is recommended. I tried one restaurant (Bordeaux) and the filet mignon and shrimp was the BEST! The buffet food was so good, I didn’t bother trying anymore restaurants but there are available. The swings at the swing bar were fun too! If you have kids, the will love it here too! There was so much for them to do (during the day but not sure what if offered for the kids at night). Even the parents were having a grand time in the water slides. If you don’t have children or are taking a break from children, there is an adult only pool. I will say, the kids had an area of their own with a pool, slides, a splash pad, and I think they had mini golf too. So for the most part, there weren’t too many kids in the main pool. Yes, there are about three pools and a hot tub. And If you would like to drive a speedboat and go snorkeling, do the Jungle Tour excursion. You’ll also want to buy the video and photo. It made my trip! PLEASE tip the resort staff well. They truly deserve it!

It is tucked away and at least 30/45 minutes from the Hotel Zone or Playa del Carmen so shopping and the “local” experience isn’t readily available but it’s just a taxi drive away. There are many shops on the property which is a great option but be prepared, the merchandise is marked up quite a bit! For example a pack of gum is $6USD and the waterproof phone cases are $42USD. Be sure to bring your own! Also, the try to rope you in for a timeshare presentation. I didn’t know what it was at first but another guest told me they hold you for about three hours even if you repeatedly say no. Just a heads up. The pool is closed by 530pm/6pm.

Staff is professional and caring. Cristhian in the Preferred Lounge was very helpful and accommodating on arrival when I had a booking mishap. He helped sort it out and managed without getting frustrated despite some back and forth decisions we had. The cigar making class was very informative. Snacks in the preferred lounge were delicious (chicken wings, fries, mixed ceviche (fish/shrimp), grilled mahi mahi, salads). I highly recommend upgrading or booking the Preferred!! We enjoyed the air conditioning and watching soccer matches while sipping premium drinks, slightly different from the standard bars, in the middle of July. The online app for activities and general details was helpful. Didn't feel pressured to tip. Lots of activities by the pool. Music by the pool made it lively and enjoyable for all. I thought it was a very nice touch to set up delicious food (burgers, Chinese, etc.) by the pool bar area for those of us who lose track of time and don't make it to the restaurants for lunch. Food was the best all inclusive experience I've ever had. This is in comparison to the Riu and Iberostar properties I've visited all over Cancun and Los Cabos. Property size was perfect...good amount of walking but didn't require a golf cart to get places. Our preferred room got us a room in the lower digits which made for a ~7 minute walk to anywhere. Some in our party were about ~12 minutes out. The spa is very nice and I had an amazing massage. Kid-friendly property. My nephews (8y and 4y) had a lot of fun. The Kids Club got full so if you need to drop your kids off sign them up first thing in the morning. The water slides were a lot of fun for kids and adults.

The desserts were dry and subpar. Most had a jello like consistency. Restaurants were confusing. We wanted to eat at Lemongrass (Thai place), which showed open on the app, but when we got there we were informed it was converted to the Hibachi for that night. This happened atleast twice, during our 5-night stay, with other restaurants. Booking a pool bed/cabana was ridiculous. I stood in line for 35 minutes and left without a reservation because a group ahead of us booked multiple beds for themselves and friends who weren't in line. Real waste of time. Luckily my sister had an ocean swim out so we ended up at their room for a majority of the trip. The gym was OK but could use better air conditioning/air circulation.

Loved outside eating areas!! Which is really important to us as hate eating in Air-con on holiday. Drinks & food good standard especially the buffet with freshly cooked fish & seafood! Very friendly staff throughout resort & nice rooms & gardens

Beach quite rough & all that coast suffers from seaweed but would be nice if cleaned. Didn't realise that we would not have access to the smaller quieter pool without additional cost. Think you need to change sunlounger policy. if people were told they can't reserve a lounger by placing a towel on it there would have been lots free....but as it was was a constant issue. Main pool was very loud which is fine if you can escape to a quieter one.

Your staff is top notch 5 out of 5 stars. The staff made us feel welcome and inviting could not say enough starting from the staff at the front gates, to the reception, to the bar, and to David the housekeeper. Your whole staff was neatly dressed at the breakfast bar, to the waiters and even the pool staff.

You only had two kinds of beer to serve. Really? With the money spent you think I didn't have to buy my own and bring it to the property. Next time I will have to ask before booking what type of beers the hotel serve. Only light and dark beer is rated poorly. Thumbs down

The staff at the resort are so friendly and go above and beyond. The majority of the food was tasty and not bland at all although there were a few exceptions but that was limited. We loved the fact that the resort was small enough you could find everyone and walk to anywhere you needed to go. Everyday there was entertainment at the main pool which brought everyone together. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back especially as our room was clean and we didn’t have any issues. The only thing is the beach was unbatheable for the majority of the trip. There were times when the water was clear that you could go in. The staff did a great job of cleaning the beach every morning but it’s hard to beat Mother Nature.

Staff was amazingly friendly and motivating to partake in the activities. Moises was so wonderful at breakfast in the morning and Lucy and Iris were so kind in the Coco Cafe and Johann at the pool and Fabian the DJ in the Sports Bar. Just overall the staff was always smiling and kind. They took the time to know our names and remember! The food was 8+/10, but it was nice to line up and get in and we only needed reservations at one place and were able to get them. Rooms were clean, towels were available from 8-4pm. Crepes or omelettes made to order in the morning with fresh cut fruit! We had tried another resort and came back here again. It is smaller, but has everything you want. The beach is also great (minus the season of seaweed) with kayaks, hobie cats, volleyball.

Maybe some more "quiet" pool hours. Because it is a smaller resort, and the pool is BIG, lots of activities happen there. But that means louder music at times (there is an adult pool that is quieter, but we can't just leave the 11 yo over at the big pool) and it was also Spring Break. The other thing would be our rooms mattress was super soft...cozy, but too soft for us and we just didn't sleep as well as we wanted.

Great family resort. We travelled as part of a larger group for a wedding and the facilities have something for everyone. Pool area, water slides, pool bar and snacks, make for a great day by the pool. Rooms quiet, cool and comfortable. Preferred club lounge, buffet and Asian restaurant all highly recommended. Wedding venue at far end of the complex was lovely and made for a great private day. Tennis courts free to use and no booking required.

If you’re visiting for the beach then this may be an issue due to the amount of seaweed affecting this beach and most of the coast, hotel does it’s best to clear but hard work. The queueing system for some of the restaurants (with a buzzer handed to you) is chaotic at times. Even at 630am a large amount of sun loungers around the pool were already taken.

Very comfortable room. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Very nice lobby bar, spa and pool area. Delicious pastries :)

The buffets could be improved with more variety of food and more Mexican dishes. The resort could take better care of the beach.

Ocean was not clean during our stay at the hotel beach. Beds were too soft.
