Sensira Resort & Spa Riviera Maya All Inclusive

Amazing stay with my family. The room was beautifully furnished with great view to the pool area and the ocean. The staff is incredibly helpful and always smiling. Many options for restaurants and friendly service around the pool area. Special mention for the kids club and their staff. Our kid wanted to go there every time and stay in the activities proposed. Amazing overall experience for families with kids.

The beach zone is a little bit small with little room for anything to do in the water. We had a minor issue with the buffet staff that once commented, the front desk staff attended quite rapidly. The food offering and quality on the restaurants could improve a little bit

My family had an incredible experience at Sensira for Spring break. Different from larger more corporate chains, our time at Sensira was relaxing, fun, and catered to family and couple time. The kids club and activities were excellent. The buffet was acceptable, the drinks were great with name brand liquor, the pools were clean and pool service was exceptional. Our room was comfortable and all of the facilities were clean. Room service was wonderful, allowing us to have morning coffee on our balcony enjoying the beautiful view. The beach was maintained each morning and the crew was on top of the seaweed that is all over the coast. The resort has done all it can to keep up with the seaweed blooms. I would highly recommend dinner reservations before coming to the resort, as it was almost impossible to walk in. The adults only, Gallerie de Sens was outstanding, at probably a $500 meal in the US, make sure to book ahead! Our kids asked to spend time in the kids club each day and the staff were kind and helpful. We would consider returning.

This is a contemporary hotel with a lot of sustainable features. Very stylish and with comfy rooms. Great spa services. Tasty food. They have a night club.

Hotel does not bake their own desserts, they offer very cheap candies, Hershey chocolate milk and something weird made of cereal splashed with sugary syrup. No pastry chef? Go fruits then! Especially if you position yourself as sustainable facility. It was hard to distract kids off of that garbage food((((( Kids club has TV on(((((((( Kids program in the club is very poor. Couple simple art projects a day. They are not doing anything outdoors. So, if you want to do something adults only you have to leave your kids there minding that entire stay they will be watching TV indoors. These things messed up the whole picture.

The service was amazing, David and Claudia provided really excellent customer service in the restaurant. The swimming pools are well designed and the one for kids is awesome. The service on the swimming pool is really good. Eugenio did a very good job during our stay. He was always asking if we want anything else. So thanks to all of these facts, we had very relax stay.

Great place, friendly staff, different food options, nice and quiet rooms. Lot of activities for the kids. My daughter loved the kids club. Nice and clean beach.

Lots of folks claiming a beach chair with their towels only to be gone for hours. Maybe some policy that stuff will be removed if left behind unattended for too long.

Extremely kid friendly which we focused on when booking the resort. From the pool to the trampoline park and zipline, everyone had a great time. The rooms were huge and even the adults enjoyed their own peace and quite. All in all looking forward to go back

Great hotel for kids / families (but prob. less so for adults only). The staff at check-in and concierge were great. Comfortable rooms / beds, and the separate kids room is a great option if you do not want to book a full suite.

The hotel gives the impression of being in constant need of TLC The quality of the breakfast and lunch buffet is sub-par vs. hotel aim. The hotel offers diving in the morning and some (very expensive) snorkelling experience but do not advertise it well on their website. My own cultural bias (UK) but I hate having staff in the canteen or car vallet asking me to remember their names to post good reviews on tripadvisor. That pushes them to be fakey-friendly in a US manner

The location is amazing, you have all the best service for every member of the family. the staff is very friendly and always helpful, the food in all the restaurants are exquisite. we love the hotel, and the spa is the star, is one of the best services I ever had.

the one little detail was the last day of our stay the room wasn’t clean enough and they don’t refill the bar with bottles of water.

- too much seaweed, swimming in the ocean was impossible. I know that it is a natural phenomenon and not really an issue of the hotel, but some meters away, one of the neighborhood hotels is absolutely seaweed free. They have fences in the water and stronger cleaning activities and the water looks amazing and does not smell at all.

Cleanliness gets a B grade. Trash in the hallways and stairwells was not cleaned. Could not swim in the ocean due to the rocks and the amount of seaweed and trash. Food was just barely edible. Mexican restaurant was good but better Mexican restaurants are a short drive away. Galerie de Sens was a great attempt at haute cuisine. But if you compare with other such restaurants, it gets a C grade. my recommendation is to make this an optional extra pay restaurant and use that budget to improve the other restaurants. Staff needs more training and better management. Systems are archaic. Printed spreadsheets for restaurant reservations and asking everyone regarding their food allergies at every meal is inefficient.
