Camino Real Veracruz

one of the servers chose her tip amount automatically as she skipped through the prompts on the credit card machine without asking what percentage I wanted to give. I would’ve already tipped the highest tip without her having to do that. construction noise, and dust. I know inevitable but maybe not on a Saturday?

Beachfront and pool was great for cooling down during hot day with variety of cocktails to cool down even more while enjoying sunset looking at beach. Restaurant and pool attending staff were very nice and always ready to provide the best service which we appreciated a lot.

Receptionist at the checkin seemed little bit annoyed as we have been checking in and her attitude seemed little bit off. Concierge was very nice and helpful though. Generally speaking some of the staff members were looking uninterested in providing good services and good attitude towards customers and that keeps me wondering if that is the correct job they chose.

proximity to sandy beach. The pool patio over looks it. They gave me a junior suite twice in a row! This is the best part. Staff is very very kind. The regular room facilities would have been a :-( bc small room; bed not positioned for ocean view, and bathroom smells like mildew. Just FYI

Best location by far in comparison to other Hotels if you are looking for a beachfront Hotel :)

Although pool was cleaned daily, much beach sand was still visible on floor bottom. This can definitely improve :-/

The breakfast buffet (though not included with the room rate) has an ample selection of dishes. The concierge was helpful, and the suites facing the sea had a fantastic view. The food overall was excellent.

The housekeeping service could be more efficient; I had to wrestle and insist that the reception team send the housekeeping before the EVENING! When we clearly want to chill in the room. The pool could also use some maintenance and cleaning.

The pillows and comforter were stinky, the sheets smelled clean but the heavy linens had BO, which made it hard to sleep on. The restaurant was pricey for an average food.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and they are cleaned every day during your stay

the food is expensive, there is no other restaurants within walking distance, they don't have a store with snacks that you can get after hours

The reception staff were fabulous. They were so friendly and nothing was a bother. Views from room were superb - room was huge - more like an apartment. Really comfortable place to stay. Cleaning staff do an amazing job - everything is sparkling clean.

I don't like to say negative things but the room service staff were a bit abrupt and their attitude a bit unfriendly. I stayed in the México City Camino Real previously and the room service was lovely there, but things were quite different at Veracruz. The food was excellent though. However, drinks were really overpriced. The location was a little weird. This area of Veracruz seems to be 'under development' - there are lot of unfinished building projects all over the place. I was expecting it to be greener in terms of trees, etc but it's very dominated by concrete. It is immaculately clean though, so if you like sanitised urban environments close to a beach, you'll like it.

they were empty literally and refuse late check out for more than an hour. When time came up I express my discomfort and then they offer a late check out with my luggage already at the lobby.

To my request of extending pool service they did it. Came late from work and accepted to use poo jntil 9 30pm. Great gesture.

Waiter chief at breakfast yelled at me because i suddenly step up to the buffet without the face mask (left it at the table). It was a honest mistake but this person reaction made me feel like a criminal.
