Hampton by Hilton Veracruz Boca Del Rio

The room was really great; nice and large, beds were very comfortable with nice sheets. The shower was powerful and hot and bathroom had a good supply of towels. It was very clean and seemed well insulated against noise from outside. The aircon was efficient, there was a coffee maker and fridge. The hotel offers (limited) free parking.

The view was bad; the window mainly faced two other walls of the hotel (although there was maybe a centimeter sliver of ocean visible through the buildings in front). The pool was ugly and didn't look very clean. The breakfast was ok, not great, and if you got there after 9am you had to wait to enter (hotel was full because of various events). The entrance to the parking was sometimes blocked by people who selfishly left their cars in front of the hotel while checking in, and those caught up in the subsequent line. Parking was somewhat limited and much of it was on a steep slope. The lobby and public areas of the hotel didn't match the niceness of the rooms.

I had the master suit and it was amazingly spacious and clean Katia was fluent in English and was super helpful and nice.

I had an Ocean View suit... but the windows were so dirty from the outside (and I mean dirty like I had never seen), that I couldnt really enjoy the view at all!! ... it was a shame. Location depends on what you are looking for, there's nothing interesting to see in walking distance except a mall. Hotel is facing a wide highway(road) with no easy access to any beach nearby. If you want to visit the Historic center, you take a taxi and pay 60-90 pesos and get there in 10 minutes.

I have no complains about this hotel, to be honest, I could enjoy most of the common areas with my small chihuahua. We felt welcomed by the staff since the beginning and the food is very good. My husband is usually very picky about hotels and this fulfilled his expectations and needs. The beds are so comfortable, even though we could slept with out any disturbance from the bedroom or the surroundings. More over the location is pretty convenient for hood food, entertainment, shopping and beach time. We are definitely coming back for longer time to take a break and enjoy the city.

I wish I could have more autonomy when it comes to park the car in their garage. I can’t open the door by myself. The valet parking is very helpful, but I rather to do things by myself. In this case, coming back to the hotel when I’m tired I rather to get quickly into the bedroom, otherwise I have no negative comments about the hotel.

Hotel was easy to find, in a convenient location just off the main road in Boca del Rio. There is valet parking and the staff is friendly. We were originally given a room on the first floor but when we went inside there was a terrible smell so the staff immediately moved us to a room on the 5th floor which was very nice. Hotel is clean, beds & pillows are comfortable, the showers were hot and the wifi was good. We could see the pool from our room and it looked nice but we didn't have time to hang this time. Hotel is located across from the mall so it has a lot of options for eating & shopping within walking distance. And the Boulevard where the beach is located is just across the street. Overall nice experience.

Great wifi, comfortable bed, spacious room and bathroom. Loved the body lotion they give you in the room. Room has coffee machine and they put you regular and decaffeinated coffee. Convenient parking on the ground level, it doesn't have much space, but they also have another parking lot right behind the hotel. We have stayed 3 times already and definitely will come again.

Last time we stayed the armchair and little table from our room were missing :( That's a pity because I usually use them to work while my husband using the desk.

Beautiful room with ocean view. Breakfast was good. We got a master suite because our niece was flying in. We thought the master was a separate bedroom from the living area; it's one large room with a dresser dividing the two areas. Nice room but not what I was hoping.

1) We had our 2 small pugs with us. They charged us $544mxn/dog/night. That's more than a day's wage for a housekeeper! I don't mind paying a deposit but think this as a charge is outrageous. 2) there is no easy way to cross the highway to get to the beach.

It's a very nice hotel and very focused on good service. It mostly accomplishes that goal. The restaurant however is pretty hit or miss. I appreciate the all day service hours but do not appreciate the $9 usd breakfast buffet that is some days average and other days left over product that isn't creatively repurposed. Dinner is average and menu lacks focus. I feel it would benefit everyone if it had a few things done really well instead of weird continental old timey Euro with bland versions of Veracruz dishes. Beds are comfy and staff is friendly. I miss a fridge in my room for sure. Pet friendly and reasonable fees. I would stay again.

This hotel manages to be super professional and welcoming at the same time. I have been traveling non stop for 5 months and have worked in the hospitality industry for most of my life. I'm picky. To give context. The staff is very friendly and works very hard at good service. The restaurant is very good and has hours that suit travelers ( all day thank you!) and room service is fast and efficient. Food is delicious. Service is quick and friendly. Hotel is VERY clean, smells fresh, they have covid protocols in place of course but don't just dump sanitizer all over the floor and call it clean ( like I've seen all over). True art in hospitality is that everything is always clean but you don't always see and smell and hear the cleaning crew. They're like ninjas. The elevators are fast. There's a pretty pool area in the courtyard, parking is under hotel with 24 hr security, pet friendly with a reasonable pet fee, good sound proofing between rooms, double paned glass windows no traffic noise. Rooms have good functional mod design good quality furnishings, fast wifi, good desk and chair, beds are comfy, good linens, AC works well, everything in good repair, bathroom has glass wall shower with instant hot water and rain shower head good pressure. Ample space and hooks in bath for toiletries. I miss no fridge in room but that does not seem a norm in Mexico like the US. The lighting at night is soft and relaxing which is very much appreciated. Black out curtains in rooms. Excellent location walkable to the beach and great to walk on malecon. There's an empty field next door for dog pit stops but it's got some litter and broken glass so beware. Mexico has much improved its pet friendly accommodation but this is a city don't expect a farm stay. This is close to lots of high end shopping and restaurants. I've had a king room and extended my stay to a junior suite which is large and very comfortable.

No complaints really. Maybe it would be nice to have wash cloths in room or more than one hand towel but you can easily ask housekeeper. It's a lovely hotel at any price.

The hotel was very clean, from the entrance, to the parking lot, the restaurant, room, pool area. The room was very comfortable and the staff did their best to keep it clean

There’re not many options regarding food options, you have to go up north to find more restaurants. But the staff told us that it was due to the pandemic, many places had to close
