Having learned our lesson at another hotel, we opted for a superior room with two double beds. This put us on the second floor with plenty of space to put things and plenty of natural light. (The rooms downstairs looked a bit dark, so we made the right choice.) The beds were quite comfortable, the bathroom very nice, and there were lots of places to put things in the room. The room, bathroom and entire facility were very clean, and staff followed covid protocols. The room was cleaned daily. There are some nice places to sit outside in a garden atmosphere on the second level where we were as well as on the first level. Overall, the hotel is lovely and appealing. Location of the hotel is a bit further from the center than where we stayed our first time in Merida, which was actually quite nice. It put us closer to Paseo Montejo and close to Santa Lucia Parque and the restaurants there. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I also have to give a shout out to a restaurant on our street, Calle 51, a few blocks down on the right as you head towards Santa Lucia called Sasha's Urban Bistro. The two lunches we had there were brilliant and very reasonable. The restaurant itself is very tasteful and restrained while being light, airy and comfortable.

I didn't like the breakfast much. You have to tell them the night before when you want to eat and what you want to have - the only choice, really, is how you want your eggs cooked. Two of the three breakfasts put on our table had eggs not how we requested. The coffee was not good. I can get by with eggs that didn't fulfill my request, but bad coffee - I hope the owners will do something about it. The staff, when they realized they had made mistakes on the eggs two days in a row, were completely apologetic and offered to make up new eggs. I will say that the chilaquiles had a phenomenal red sauce on them. If you have laundry to be done, you're on your own. We took a bundle to around the corner and never found the laundry the hotel staff said was there.

The staff was amazing. They catered for all our needs and answered all our boring questions. The breakfast was also really good. The location is just a couple of minutes walk to the historic town centre. The patio is very peaceful, the perfect spot to read your book. The Internet connection was perfect for Yucatan standards :)

The room was quite small and dark. Normally we wouldn't mind it that much but it was the only day during our travel that we had to stay in and work. So, it was a bit upsetting.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. The localization was very nice, less than 5 minutes walk to Calle 60 and 2 or 3 minutes more to Paseo de Montejo. Room big enough for a couple of nights. If you want, there is an option to buy a trip to cenotes or archeological sites in the hotel.

Pillows were uncomfortable, they were big and hard. Breakfasts were very plain, not so tasty, the best part of them was fruit.

We had a spacious and clean room, which was decorated in a lovely way since we stayed at the hotel for the fist stop in our honeymoon, and the staff were really nice and helpful. Location is great, 10 mins walking to the Zocalo so really quiet at night but close to lots of restaurants and cantinas. We tried the breakfast on our last day and it was delicious! Totally recommend staying here to explore Mérida (the hotel also has a tour company offering tours to the most famous ruins in the area).

Great family hotel. Not luxurious, but with everything you could need: centrally located, rooms large and cool in the Merida heat, comfortable bed, good wifi, continental breakfast. Best of all, the service from everyone, from the front desk to the room attendants, was warm and friendly. Can't recommend it enough.

The TV was a little too small for the size of room we had (king size). Not a deal breaker by any means, but just a minor detail.

Location was perfect for walking to the historic district and many of the sights. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and the ambiance was traditional Mexican decor in a restored hacienda that was very charming. We stayed for a week and it was the perfect home away from home for us.

The only improvement I would recommend was on the breakfast -- but these are not normal times and Covid restrictions and rules did not allow the hotel to do their normal routine, which would have been very nice. However, that said, they still provided a nice fruit plate, coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, and eggs fixed any style.

The location is very convenient. The staff is AMAZING- very welcoming and helpful. This place is a home away from home! The breakfast is delicious and everyone is so attentive to you -it seriously feels like family looking after you. There is someone always at the desk 24hrs. They helped us order food when we got the late night munchies and organized an amazing excursion to Uxmal for us (we were picked up and dropped off at the hotel.) They have a variety of excursions available, so you can literally plan everything from the comfort of your hotel! No running around to find anything. Shout out to David and the evening host. They were sooo helpful and good to our family 💕 I hope to visit soon!

So bummed the jacuzzi was unavailable due to Covid… it would’ve been awesome if they could make it available by schedule. So people could book it by the hour or something like that. This would minimize having several people in the jacuzzi and open it up to be used by guests😉

It's a beautiful older well maintained hotel. The beds are comfy, It's not a far walk to the main square and park. It's not far from Paseo de mantejo either. There's also a gas station/convenience store nearby, so if you want a snack, coffee, cigarettes etc it's three streets away. I had their breakfast, and was quite satisfied. For the price, I feel it's a good value.

It's not an elevator building, so if you have mobility issues that could be a problem, though the staff did help with my luggage. If you use a walker, wheel chair, leg in a cast, or other issue, this would be a problem, but if your healthy it won't be a challenge. I'm just mentioning to let others know, it was no issue for me

We had a brief stay here for some appointments downtown. It was super clean and convenient and the staff were very patient and supportive. We were able to walk to dinner in the evening and parking in front of the hotel was never a problem.

Our room was close to the entrance so there were a couple nights that it was difficult to sleep soundly with people coming and going in the evenings and early morning. Although we did request to be on the ground floor to avoid steps for my mother who just had knee surgery so this may just be our experience.
