Hotel Flamingo Merida

The room itself was pretty comfortable and the hotel is within walking distance of a lot of really nice restaurants and microbreweries as well as cultural attractions. From the room I got you had a nice view of the cathedral spires in the skyline.

The bathroom was tiny, which in an of itself wouldn't normally be a problem but if you're using the toilet and you have long legs you're gonna had to do it sideways.

Location, staff, cleanliness, very comfortable bed. All great.

Be sure to request an "interior" room. My room was beautiful and comfortable but one "wall" was actually a huge window right next to the street on a bus route. VERY noisy.

Everything. Clean, nice pool, good strong water pressure and hot water, plus very friendly and helpful staff. Staff allowed me to check in early as I had been on a bus all night coming from Veracruz and arrived early in the morning. The room was spacious and air conditioned. Nice, clean pool as well.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about this place

Just minutes from the Airport and popular car rental depots. Excellent value for the money. Staff are extremely nice and accommodating. Free parking. Covid-conscious staff and patrons. Clean bed, no bugs.

It’s not convenient to downtown Cancun and beaches, and not ideal if you are using the expensive taxis but it’s fine if you are driving. The room is simple. The pool is nice but not great. Everything is just mediocre compared to expensive places, but it’s not expensive, so... there you go. Lol

Great Location if you want to be dowtown. Small rooms, just for rest.. In my opinion it is good for solo or couple travel. Has an elevator for those who need it. They offer free parking. Has small pool to refresh in the middle of the hotel.

Very small, but some places in the area offer similar room sizes.

space was as advertised; check in process was seamless, space was well located, staff were friendly and space was spacious-comfortable. no major issues. didn't use the pool but seem like a chill poll to chill in

lone reservation was Wifi connection within rooms was spotty; managed to watch netflix with minimal issues but did have to use data for parts of viewing.

There were several renovations

The sinks were stopped up, shower water didn't drain well. Yuck! The building was very humid, seemed a haven for mold. The location was slightly remote to the grand plaza.

Love the hotel so clean and great location! I would stay here again. The beds are comfty the wifi works well no noise and the ac works well and we got a tv. The reception was super helpful.
