There was a lift. It was clean & quiet. It was in a really nice residential neighbourhood with a lot of great cafes and restaurants, not far from tramline. It was a short walk to the Vondelpark and across It to the Museum Quarter. Nice shelf space in our bathroom and a lovely rooftop view.

The luggage storage was not in a locked room, it was on open shelves that couldn't be seen from the front desk.

We stayed in Room 101 - the room was clean and comfortable and typical of rooms in Amsterdam. The hotel is set in a lovely area on the outskirts of Amsterdam with lots of little shops and bars and tram access to central Amsterdam. The staff were helpful and the rooms were clean - there were also two fans in the rooms - we travelled in the middle of a heat wave and the temperture couldnt really be helped.

Unfortunately, like most of the hotels in amsterdam of this sort, there was no aircon but I wouldnt say this reflects badly on the hotel itself and is just an observation to be aware of. Also, there was a small cafe bar downstairs for coffees and pastries to purchase - I can see they are are creating a cafe bar so hopefully will be some more options to purchase for breakfast/brunch.

We had a beautiful stay at Hotel Heye in July. Our room was on the third floor and had a beautiful view of the surrounding buildings and street which really opened up our room. Considering our room did not have air-con these windows were life savers! Our beds were made up and we received fresh towels every day of our stay which was lovely! The location was perfect in our minds as we were not too far out of the city center and were surrounded by great cafes, restaurants and shops - Loved how close we were to museums etc. The staff were lovely and super helpful and helped us out with renting bikes for the days we spent there (a must to get around!). Would definitely stay here again for the price!

The only negative was the price for us for renting bikes - which was a little more than we expected especially in our currency however was worth it to get around! Everything else was perfect!

Good transport links. If you enjoy walking then good location as close enough to main centre/bridges for activities. Clean bathroom, and bedroom. Amazing windows and view. Lift to get baggage up to your bedroom. Allowed before check-in and late check-out to leave inside whilst you explore. Would definitely stay again.

However, the curtain for the shower still allowed the water to go through to the floor mat, but this was mopped and changed by housekeeping. Not about the hotel, but it takes around 5/10mins before you get an Uber/bolt accepted to take you to the coach station if that’s where you want to go, however takes you directly to where you need to depart.

The location was great and close to the city centre, many bars and restaurants and trams. I had a very clean and cosy bedroom on the fourth floor with a great view out the window. Staff were friendly.

I really don't think it was value for money. €333.78 is very expensive for a single room for two nights and believe me, I did plenty of research before booking this accommodation and booked it well in advance. I am staying three nights in London the May bank holiday weekend and the hotel there is cheaper than what I paid for two nights in Amsterdam. I know Amsterdam is an expensive city but I find there is better value to be had in other European cities such as London, Paris, Madrid. IT is almost as expensive as Dublin where hotel prices are even crazier.

This is a fantastic small hotel in an interseting area, a few steps from a canal. It looks as if the hotel has been renovated from top to bottom recently and it is now very stylish. My single room was small but extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and with a great view of the street scene. There is a tram stop at both ends of the road giving easy access to all parts of the city and there are plenty of places to eat along the street. The staff were very helpful. This will definitely be my base in Amsterdam for future visits. The price is great in this expensive city!

Everything was perfect.

it’s very well located. near a tram station but you can also walk to the main points enjoying the city. the space in the bed and bath is decent. seemed clean when we arrived. the front desk staff was very friendly

the shower doesn’t have curtains thus when you take a shower the entire bath becomes wet. note: as usual in Europe there is no AC which for us was not a problem as days weren’t that hot but we had to sleep with open windows. The portable vent left in the room was very dirty. We went in high season (august) thus the price was way too high for the place but that is the cost of travelling in high season.

Very clean hotel. The staff were lovely and friendly. The location is good for the price as it's not in the centre of the city but had good transport lines, making it very accessible. The curtains were black out which was very helpful when we were having a lie in.

Bathroom was on the smaller side but it was manageable

Hotel was in a nice location, close to a canal and in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. Tram station was relatively close. The room had plenty of windows. We slept with open windows and there was no noice coming from the street. Staff was very friendly.

There was no AC, however, in our case, it wasn't really needed as the temperature in the evening in Amsterdam was nice although our visit was during a hot August day.

The staff are really friendly, always with a smiling face, check in and check out were smooth. There is only 4 rooms per floor, there is 2-seater sofa & small table in the room too, which is a plus! Bed is comfy and we live the TV that can connect to iphone. There is hotel-run cafe on the ground floor, which is also the entrance. You can have coffee or tea, or bring your own food & drinks (a bit hostel concept except no cooking) and were always light up no matter how late. We stayed for 3 nights and we like it. Located in a neighborhood, Albert Heijn supermarket just next door. 5mins walk to HEMA, and a 15mins walk to tenkart mart & food hallen. We stroll along the area, where we find different cafe, patries shop & takeaways. Also there is one "coffeeshop" nearby, but take note is a non-smokable room.

There is no kettle nor coffee machine in the room. The shower area is not fully cover, and easily spill water or flood the whole toilet. There is NO control of air conditioning in the room, the average temp was cool, not really warm. There's some walking distance to the tram, about 6mins walk.
