I liked the architecture of the hotel, the position (near to all the points of tourist interest), the vecinity is very nice (great French restaurant nearby, called La Parole, the restaurant inside the hotel was also great - Remise 47), the lobby and the bar inside are very cosey. Nice to hang out outside the room (even in the garden when the weather is nice).

Very expensive regarding the rate what they offer and what you are really pay for. We where at the middle of March, really cold outside and, firstly, they gave us a room at the ground floor, with cement floor yes, indeed!!!], and inside the room were no more than 16 °Celsius. Very cold all night, and the heater didn't work at all. We moved to another room next day, this time at the first floor, with carpet on the floor and a little bit warm, but we had to pay extra 15 euros/night. They said to us that it was an upgrade!? And I think it wasn't fair that regarding the price for the room you need to pay extra if you want breakfast.

We enjoyed the character and distinctiveness of the building and decor. The room was thoughtfully designed and extremely clean. Location of the hotel is brilliant: slightly away from the busy roads (therefore not too noisy at night) but close enough to easily walk to the centre of Amsterdam. Having the food hall next door is a bonus. All the facilities were high quality and aesthetically pleasing. The reception and cleaning staff were welcoming and helpful.

These are very minor points as the hotel is excellent and I would certainly go again if revisiting Amsterdam. There was a central heating control in the room which we adjusted to our liking in the day but at night, it seemed to be on a centrally controlled setting and we could not alter it. Consequently, we were uncomfortably hot overnight. One other minor point, the dark glass doors between the bathroom and the bedroom have two large round holes which serve as the handles. It is a pleasing visual design but it does mean that someone inside the bathroom, by the sink and shower area could potentially be viewed from the bedroom. It is not always the case that two people sharing a room are a couple.

My family really liked this hotel - our favorite during our 2-week/5 hotel summer holiday. It's slightly unusual given it's an old tram station. The rooms are well designed & very quiet and the beds very comfortable. We had a huge bathroom. The breakfasts were very good - the best we had on holiday. The location is great, a short walk to the Jordaan & right next to the Foodhallen (amazing food hall) which was brilliant for keeping a whole family happy. There is a park with a playground directly in front of the hotel - another bonus for families. We booked 3 different types of rooms & I was very happy in the basic internal view room & would probably choose this room again. We stayed 2 nights. I would definitely return to this hotel.

The location is pretty nice and generally everything is new and clean.

It looks a little bit like a prison, with windowless boxes on the sides. The rooms feel like cubicles and you are literally sleeping in the hall when staying at the ground floor. I didn't like the experience to be honest. Also, there was some bad management of the payment, as I was charged twice for my stay, and they also get a pre-authotization on top of that. For such an expensive place, I would say the service is below average overall.

Cool building with a nice atmosphere and pretty good location. Staff were mainly friendly but we got the impression they were very short-staffed there. Lovely to have the garden on a sunny afternoon/evening.

Location is nice but in a residential area which has advantages but more central would have been even better. We really did not like the fact that there is no access at all to fresh air - all air-conditioned. Good sound proofing in the room but it did feel a bit like being in a cell! Really didn't like the open plan bathroom and loo doors which didn't shut completely so no privacy. Breakfast was fine but a bit boring and we were not actively offered the freshly-cooked options by the staff - the menu for these was only on a few tables and we only discovered them on the third morning.

Excellent location in the Jordaan area of Amsterdam, the Hotel has a modern and quirky design in a renovated train depot and backs up to the spacious and delicious food halls (which are also in the renovated train depot) where you can find all kinds of shops, maker spaces, and food stalls. There are lovely local breakfast cafes (try Anne&Max) and a grocery store within easy walking distance. The bathrooms in the rooms were particularly spacious and there is charming front garden outdoor area.

Because it is in a renovated historical building (the train depot), some rooms do not have exterior windows for natural light. The front desk staff was initially resistant to allowing a late check out (we requested one extra hour) but eventually agreed.

The room was beautifully designed and super comfortable. The shower was huge and it was great to have good quality shampoo, conditioner, lotion provided. We came back to a spotless room each day. The decor in the common areas is cool. Staff were available to check us in even though we arrived late and were helpful with advice on transport routes.

Our room keys seemed to get deactivated every day which meant we had to keep visiting the front desk to have them reactivated so we could get into the room when we got home after a day out.

This is a delightful property outside the inner canal ring in a charming neighborhood. It is a reimagined use of an old street car barnyard complex. Next to a fun food hall, it is a very good location to walk around. Lots of small cute restaurants to explore. About a 15 minute easy walk back into the canal ring. The rooms are minimalist but very comfortable. The design of the public spaces is very industrial chic and the breakfast is great. One of the prettiest spots is the outdoor garden. Having a drink there at the end of a day of sightseeing is heaven. Would definitely stay again.

On arrival we found the hotel easy enough. The young guy on reception was training but very polite and more than happy to check us in and take our bags even though the room wasn't available, which wasn't a problem we were early. On returning the room was ready, clean, tidy, enough room for what we needed. The toilet looks strange as the doors to it are like a wardrobe lol. Shower was amazing and the beds were really comfy. Decor was nice and modern. Seating area outside was also lovely. Never used the restaurant or bar so can't comment although people were so I guess were good. Location was good. For us it was about a 20-25 min walk but should you want a tram, you can get on one within minutes, to take you straight in the centre.

We did ask for a double, but got 2 singles, not a nightmare, just a shame. The other thing, which is more of a what's out rather than, the floor in the room is concrete, fitted with the hotel decor, but when your aftershave etc are in glass bottles there will be only one winner !!

Excellent location just a short walk from the city centre, in a quiet and cool area away from the tourists. Clean room and very comfortable bed. The food place next to it is full of different stalls so it was excellent for a quick bite and a drink at night. The hotel is located in an old tram depot so the building itself is also really interesting and well-preserved.

While the building of the old tram depot is quite cool, they should inform guests that the rooms do not have windows to the outside. We did not care because it was January, but I would usually prefer to stay in a room with natural light.
