Friendly and helpful reception staff, available 24/7. Great location, 10 minutes walk to Heineken experience, 15 mins to Leidseplein and 2 mins to tram stop which is about 10 mins from dam square. Also a 10 minute walk to get the tram to Ajax stadium. Seemed to be cheaper than most other places while still in a central location. Room cleaned daily and stayed for 3 nights. Basic room but still nice and perfect for a short stay.

Staff were nice and when I had problems with one of the lights in my room they changed my room without any fuss. Great location, a bit far from the station and the touristy places but this is what I liked! Close to the biggest park and museums. Good value for money. (Accommodation in Amsterdam is expensive (and I come from London :)) Overall will recommend!

No soap in the bathroom :) had to use the shower gel!

I loved the facilities, clean every day, nice breakfast. Nice and welcoming staff.

A little bit far from the center but still has closer metro, the stairs was tiny and the elevator was not working but eventually they fix it so i could go with my luggage from 3 floor to the lobby

This was a great hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. They offer to hold your bags if you arrive early, but we got lucky, and our room was ready. It's close to a lot of things (Museums, Parks, Rembrandt Square, Albert Cuyp Market, Heineken Experience etc.) Plus, both the tram and the metro are super close too. There is laundry right around the corner and the supermarket is maybe a 5 min walk.

The only complaint I have is that the beds were a little hard for my liking but that doesn't mean others won't find them comfortable!

It was in such a great location - opposite one of the many canals. Far enough out of the centre of town to be quiet but close enough to enjoy the walk in. There is a market around the corner that runs 6 days a week - not Sundays. In the outer suburbs Sunday is very quiet! There is a wide variety of eating options and bars available. Close to a number of tram lines. Very close to the Heineken experience. If you have the energy, time and curiosity, you can walk to the Anne Frank Museum (must book in advance) and the city centre. These both entail unforgettable walks along the canals and beautiful scenery along the way to your destination. About 30 minutes to each. The staff on reception were very courteous and helpful. Whilst waiting for a taxi they would offer my husband and I a coffee or tea. My husband said it was the best Latte he had had for a long time! Such thoughtful service! Thank you. Room was serviced each day therefore very clean. Location is fantastic. Cannot fault.

The rooms were cosy but this would not deter me from booking here again. There is also a small set of stairs to climb from the street to the reception.

The room was clean, quiet and great for what we needed. Bed was super comfy and the bathroom was spacious. A/C was super cold! The staff were all really wonderful and very accommodating for our visit. Construction caused an issue with getting there from the tram but not the staff's fault. We paid for breakfast on 2 of the days and it was delicious. Water/juice/milk provided along with an assortment of hot & cold options and various breads/pastries. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay at other Ibis hotels. The staff was really wonderful and very professional and delightful!

This is our third visit to Ibis Hotel when visiting in Europe and it has never disappointed us. For budget hotel, the hotel premises as well as rooms were very clean. They even let us check out 1hr late as per our request. Good part of this hotel is they've lift so it was easy for us to carry our 2 large size bags up 2nd floor. Best part was the location of hotel, most tourist spots (Heinekein brewery, Albert Cyupp market, Van gogh/Rijks musuems etc) are in walkable distance and tram station (Stadhouderskade) also in 2mins. The hotel staff were very supportive and helped answer every query we had. Special mention for the Hotel staff - Diago, who helped to give comfort when we had lost our mobile in Uber during arrival to hotel. I will recommend anyone visiting Amsterdam to stay at Ibis Styles Amstel Hotel. Cheers!

The bed was too soft and was low in center position due to which experienced lack of lower back support. Please have a little stiffer bed for better comfort.

Honestly everything the staff were amazing and very friendly. They honestly made the whole experience for us so much easier. They gave some really good recommendations that we did take on board and went and saw a fair few. The staff were also fantastic as we had a last minute request to take two rooms instead of one and they were very accommodating! We also all loved the tram that’s right outside, we just got a day pass and then could pop back whenever we needed to without braking the bank on Ubers and taxis.

Excellent, quiet location within walking distance of cafes, markets and trams to get you to city centre. Very friendly staff, on arrival we got a great overview from the girl in reception of the must sees in Amsterdam, very useful info for newbies to the city. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again when I'm next in this beautiful city.

Everything was as expected, no complaints here!

The location is very good for easy to centeral spot. It's wonderful to use Metro, Tram and take a train at Amsterdam centraal. The everday cleaning the room and change the towel is nice. The staffs is really kind and try to support for customer's needs. ( Specially " Bilal" was so helpful!)

But the room is very small and view is not good enough. Now a days, in front of the hotel is under constructing.
