The location of the hotel is very good, canal cruises museums, markets and restaurants are all close by. The staff is super helpful and nice, recommendations are great too. The lobby is also beautiful. Earplugs are provided.

The rooms can be quiet noisy. This noise does not come from outside but rather from inside the hotel. It is probably caused by the ceiling solution that is installed. However this did not ruin our experience at all.

Clean & simple hotel with friendly & helpful staff! Great location close to public transit and the Albert Cuyp market which I highly recommend! Front desk will give you reccs on food, etc. Room was small but as described!

Hotel description/summary should make the accessibility issues more readily apparent. It wasn't an issue for me, but I could see if being an issue for others and a bad surprise upon arrival. Stairs are VERY steep, shallow, and winding. Elevator is TINY (tight fit for 1 person with carry-on sized roller bag and tight duffel) - not a suitable option if you are claustrophobic and not suitable if in a wheelchair, etc. I listed an early check-out time on Booking.com and no one was at the desk and there was no key drop - I left key on counter and messaged the hotel so it wasn't an issue, but process could be clearer.

NA But coffee available via machine, for 2 euro! Petty when considering paying 300 euro anight for room.

Paying for making own coffee. Having a loud, drugged , abusive person in next, who after our complaints was evicted .

Every staff person I met was incredibly kind and helpful. I stayed in two different types of rooms when I was there, one in the main building, and one in a side building. Both were excellent. It's a quiet street but a central location to explore Amsterdam.

The walls are thin, so if someone is talking in the room next door, you will hear them. Fortunately, the guests are mostly quiet at this hotel so it's not a big issue. (The street noise is very minimal, and almost nothing when you close the windows).

The location, the cost, cleanliness, and the overall comfort

The room was cool to cold even with the radiator turned up to 5. When it rains, the downspout just off the corner of room 204 makes a lot of noise of water banging onto metal.

Great location.  A 2 min walk to a Metro stop multiple tram lines.  It's a 10 minute walk to the museum campus.  There's bars and restaurants within walking distance but it's also a quiet residential neighborhood.  I never heard any noise from the street.   I stayed in a Comfort Single Room which was plenty of enough space for me.  I was on the ground floor, but I didn't find it noisy.  You will hear people going up and down the stairs, but I mostly heard them in the morning when people are leaving.  Heat is provided by a radiator, which can get the room quite warm if you want.   There's a TV in the room with several english-speaking channels (if that's your language).  The lighting is good and the shower was quite warm.  There's an electric kettle in your room for tea.  The only thing the room needed was a small refrigerator.  That may be the American in me, but I would have loved to have one for my water bottle or to store food.

The bed was ok. Not the best, not the worst. It also would have been nice to have coffee or water provided for free.

The hotel was situated on a quiet residential street near the museum Quarter. The hotel was really clean and nicely furnished. Our room was big with a smallish bathroom, but the shower was good with plentiful hot water. Comfy beds and plenty of storage for clothes etc. Lots of transport links, canal boats trips nearby, lots of restaurants in walking distance

The hotel didn't serve breakfast but that suited us. Lots of nearby cafes and you could eat your own in the dining area. The hotel would put things in the fridge and provided plates.

Super helpful staff. Spotless clean room. Size of the room, especially in Amsterdam. Parking discount and proximity. Location, within walking distance from many attractions such as Rijks Museum, Van Gogh Museum, boat rides and dinners, trendy neighborhood of De Pijp with tens of restaurants and much more. Quiet street, handy for a good night rest. Not overly expensive.

Being Amsterdam, old buildings are not sound proof so you hear a few noises through the walls such as water flushing or doors closing. Having said that, we were unlucky for that as someone got up at 5am and left by 6, so the noises caught us in our sleep. If it happens 2-3 hrs later, it’s not a big deal as we would be awake anyway. In any case, the positives of this hotel in my opinion outweigh by far the one negative.

Friendly staff they did not have a breakfast but had A nice little list of places nearby for breakfast in addition the former breakfast room could now be used to bring in your own food and you could store things in the refrigerator they provided plates and silverware all very convenient in addition the hotel is very conveniently located from the museumsAnd there is public transportation right there and a little grocery store very close

The budget small room was extremely small not as wide as a king-size bed and the space that was not the bed was mostly taken up by a hidden space it’s small desk and I think there was nowhere to put my luggage other than in the entryway period the private bath was close by and clean but I would highly recommend unless you areOnly travelling with a tiny rucksack that you spend a little bit more for a larger room period the budget small room was not a good value for the size period
