ITC Hotel

The location was very nice, near the center and with a nice view from the outside. It was a nice room for the price we paid, and the bathroom was good. The weather was nice the day I went and I could open the window to have a lot of fresh air. Even on a busy street, the room was very silent.

The main problem is that the apartment was on the third floor. It wouldn't be a problem in any other city, but as it was in Amsterdam, the stairs were exceptionally small and tall. It can be even dangerous if you are in a rush, have mobility limitations, or if you are a little drunk (when returning back after going out).

The place and room were quiet, clean, & cosy. It had a good wifi connection, entertainment (TV) was fully functional and user-friendly, and I was particularly impressed with the good hygiene and cleanliness of the shared shower and toilet. The staff were helpful, (We didn't have a compatible plug socket for our trip initally, however the staff were happy to lend us one until the end of our trip). The hotel itself is situated near the town, being around a 10-15 min walk to the main shopping area of Amsterdam, with optional transport to get there instead via the tram close by. Overall, the ITC hotel is a great spot to stay if you're looking for accommodations in Amsterdam.

The shared toilet and shower were something I didn't expect. However, it was an overall good experience as they were clean, hygienic, and provided you with shampoo and body wash.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a perfect location. The shared toilet and shower were always really clean and I had no issues with waiting. (We stayed at the ITC Guesthouse across the road, not in the main building).

The staff, whilst keeping the place immaculate, were noisy when cleaning in the morning. But that wasn't there fault really, being an older building the sound travelled easily. We weren't disturbed beyond this as other guests were respectful.

Reception staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The shower room was tiny but functional and clean, the bedroom was a bit dated with stains on the carpet, but was generally clean and the bed comfortable. Nice view of the canal from the window and not noisy. Bars, cafés, restaurants all very close by. About 30 minutes nice walk to the station for Eurostar, and museums in the opposite direction. We would happily stay here again!

The only thing was no kettle tea/coffee making equipment in the room. But we went to a nice café/bar for tea in the morning!

Having stayed at this hotel before, I asked if we could have the same room as it had a lovely view of the canal. We were lucky and allocated the same room. The staff are really friendly and helpful, our room was compact but very clean and comfortable. Great location for all parts of Amsterdam, about a mile from Central Station.

The stairs to the room are incredibly steep so not ideal for everyone. Would be nice to have a kettle/tea/coffee facility in the room for out of hours.

Staff was very helpful and polite. And willing to accommodate me to the best they could.

I think was where the room was located, good room , but right by the front door and can hear front door traffic of people coming in and our all night long

The location is perfect. Easy walking distance to everything, located on a quiet canal with plenty of cafes and shops nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely neighborhood close to all the necessary amenities.

My key card didn't work sometimes but was always fixable by going to reception.

This is the very very good budget hotel at the city several times stayed there never ever faced any little problem. take it if you are going to enjoy the city because you’re going to be in the center of it. very recommended

stairs are a bit hard but this is a part of culture

it was in a good location, not too far anything. everything w was a short walk. there want any noise from any of the rooms and downstairs bar was a great evening place to relax

close to everything has a small bar downstairs really chill staff who are always down to help

Duty staff member very friendly and helpful: we were heavily delayed but he waited to welcome us.

Directions to the hotel on the booking confirmation were non-existent: took ages to find the place even though we have prior knowledge of Amsterdam.
