Vintners Retreat

Great location in middle of vineyards with the accommodation having great views.Kitchen has great selection of utensils and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The cost is very high in comparison of other stays in similar accomodation in New Zealand and there were no goodie surprises as experienced elsewhere. Pepper and salt provided but nothing else- all other places provided milk, olive oil

Full scale 2 story condo with unobstructed view of vineyards and mountains. Fully equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer provided in garage with drying rack provided. Nice patio and upstairs balcony. Quiet. Friendly host. Approximately 15 minutes by car to town. Many wineries in close proximity. Unique handcrafted artwork throughout.

Kitchen smelled a little from previous guest (curry) which dissipated during stay. No window screens except for skylight upstairs. Couch showing signs of wear.

We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a three-bedroom unit so my daughter did not have to sleep in the lounge room. Lovely garden setting looking out onto the vineyard and across to the mountains. Quiet, peaceful location and beautiful setting. The accommodation was an attached unit with three large bedrooms, large living space and a good-sized kitchen. Kitchen had all that was needed to entertain. Had a lovely covered outdoor patio with gas barbeque. Full laundry facilities in the unit. Close to other vineyards with wine tasting available.

Nice big property, good sized bedrooms. Plenty of plates, cups and cutlery. Property has a pool and tennis court. Quiet location. About 15 minutes out from Blenheim but on the same road as a couple of very good wineries and the Vines Village.

They King bed should probably have been in the room they put the two singles for our kids. We could have fixed by simply changing the sheets but didn’t bother.

Unit was very large and comfortable - would love to stay in the summertime where accessing the vineyards will be very enjoyable Recommend the venue as a great place for a large group of friends to stay and remain connected while having their own privacy in their own unit

The units are outdated but feel that the price reflects that - great value. When they are modernised, might fall outside our budget to stay but they will be worth saving up for to stay especially with the closeness to so many activities

The Vintners Retreat was the highlight of all the accommodation during our stay in New Zealand. A beautiful, peaceful setting with magical views across the adjoining vineyard. The most comfortable beds on our holiday. A very roomy apartment with everything we needed.

Nothing needs improving in this accommodation

I hate having to say that anything wasn’t good , but The absolutely only thing we all didn’t like was that the pillows were very uncomfortable too big and hard . Everything else was perfect

Very obliging staff, we were there on a 'girls weekend', ideal for that sort of occasion. The villa overlooked grapevines which were beautiful and the accommodation was nice, warm and spacious.

No complaints, it is not a luxury stay but for our needs it was excellent and well managed.

Very spacious 2 level house, with very nice patio area. This is a perfect place for exploring the wineries in the area, some just few min away by foot. We wished we stayed longer to fully enjoy all the amenities. The property has everything you need for both long and short stays. Amazing place, and great wines nearby.

Awesome location and friendly manager. We enjoyed the pétanque and the pool the one time we could use it. Well equipped condo.

A bit too much road noise. Pool was being cleaned from 8 am (nominal opening time) until noon on both mornings we were there so no chance of a morning swim. Bathrooms weren't en suite in the end, contrary to what was specified when booking.
