The Towers on the Park

The rooms where spacious and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay!

When I booked my room on booking all the images of the rooms are pretty much the image of the executive room (I didn’t know this until I checked after) but that’s not the actual room you are booking or will get upon arrival - they really need to sort this as I turned up thinking I’d booked a nice big room but in fact it was a smaller one. Kinda like false advertising. I did mention this to the guy at reception and he very kindly gave me the room I thought I had booked based on the images. Really appreciative of this. He was aware of this as said it shall be changed.

The location in relation to my meeting as well as to the town was great. It was easy to access restaurants and other sites in Riccarton. The room was very comfortable and the heating worked very well. I felt safe as a tourist travelling for work alone.

There was only one thing I did not like. Due to flights landing much later than 9pm, the accommodation charged a fee of NZD 150. I expected that there would be someone available to check me in and that was what the additional fee was for, however there was just a key placed under the mat and a letter left on the reception door.

The room was lovely and blacked out for a sleep in as I was up late working. Ideal. Great access to food nearby although I just went across the road. Bed was very comfy and a lovely big bathroom / kitchen area

Would be great if there was access to food on site, but the value for money was great without it. would have liked to have been able to order breakfast even though I was a mere 7 minutes late.

The bed was comfortable plenty big enough. Location was easy to find and room could have done with another chair in it.

As I said it could have done with another chair in it. The tea selection wasn't a normal one strange having peppermint and camomile - generally we drink green and find that several places we have stayed at have this. Sky sport could also be another favourite.

Bed was amazing and the main room was well decorated.

No sink etc in the kitchen. Shower was over the bath. No SKY just the trash 8 or 9 channels. This was disappointing as I wanted to watch a rugby league game. I had to use my laptop and the wifi provided. The wifi provided was not unlimited and it ran out very quickly trying to watch the programmes I wanted to watch.

Handy location and the price was exceptional for the size of the room and location.

There needs to be a separate screen or cover for door as I had the one curtain that unfortunately when going out for the night got caught in the door twice before I could close the door and keep my room private from been seen into.

I appreciated the sweet effort that Rowena did to leave a note outside my bedroom door to reach out if I needed anything. She knew it was not an easy travel for me to make. I also appreciated that they gave me a quiet room which was my specific request. All receptionists were lovely and kind. Also the male housekeeper was very friendly

The Towers on the Park is in a great location for walks in the park, shopping in Riccarton, and close enough to the city centre for exploring. Our room was neat and tidy, up to date (except no USB plug) and the bed was very comfortable, also easy parking outside room. What more could you ask for.

You have wonderful staff on reception who were helpful and friendly. Nothing was a hassle. The lady cleaning my room was friendly and the room cleaned beautifully

Property is a little dated but in saying that it is maintained beautifully.

Like the environment, next to the park where you can walk or run with restaurants nearby too & if you don't mind walking to the city centre, this is your choice!

After checked out, we asked if we could use the restroom but rejected, a bit disapointed
