BK's Rotorua Motor Lodge

Clean, good-sized rooms with very adequate facilities. Bed was large and very comfy and room had everything we needed. We stayed for two separate nights, one before and one after a local tramp, and was able to leave our car there for the couple of nights in between whilst we were away which was fabulous and very much appreciated. This was the big drawcard for this motel and the accommodation didn't disappoint either. It is also situated right across the road from a large supermarket and amenities so is very central and handy and yet was also quiet overnight. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing. Had to ask for a tea towel and milk for the room but that was obviously just a minor oversight.

Location was fantastic for my short Mountain Bike holiday. I only had my bike, no hire car, but that was not a problem. Supermarket and Torpedo7 bike mechanic across the road plus the usual rubbish takeaway food chains. Easy flat ride to Redwoods Forest and Skyline MTB parks. Easy to walk into the city to go to the Pig & Whistle Pub for dinner. The lodge is starting to show its age, but the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff were all friendly and helpful and did a great job of servicing the room daily :)

The motel is located directly opposite a supermarket and mall and not too far from the town centre and some of the sights. Best of all, for $10 the person at reception washed and dried our clothes and left them in our room. Brilliant service. Room was great, what we needed and we cooked on our 1st night and prepared lunch for the following day. There is certainly plenty to do in the Rotorua area and BK’s motor lodge was ideal as a base.

When my flight was canceled and I was having trouble connecting to my return flight the next day. The receptionist Jody helped me make a reservation for an intercity night bus and a taxi to the bus stop. She was so helpful and professional. There were two large sofas in the room and it was very relaxing. The sink is well polished and perfect clean.

Very clean and great facilities. The size of the room was also quite good and it was a very comfortable stay. Very good staff and was very cooperative. The supermarket is just opposite and that was very helpful for us as we did use the kitchen facilities in the room. It is a 800 metres walk from the area with a lot of restaurants, which was very convenient.

Surprisingly spacious and modern for the low price we paid. The 3-bedroom "appartement" was basic, but modern and clean. Also, enough space for the six of us. Also in very close proximity to the shopping mall and just a short walk away from Rotorua central.

BK's is centrally located, and right across the street from Countdown. The rooms are very clean and well looked after. This was my second stay here, and they upgraded my room at no cost. Thank you. I had two issues with the room, but the staff promptly addressed my needs and took care of the issues. I was very pleased and impressed with their attention to make me happy. I believe they also provide temporary housing for less fortunate families struggling, but at no time did I feel unsafe. I have stayed at a number of other places, some of them a lot more pricey, but none of them come close to the awesome water pressure in the shower at BK's. This is HUGE plus, when you have been driving all day and want to enjoy a hot high pressured shower. The beds were very comfy, fridge kept everything nice and cold, and the room was very cosy. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely!! This is the only place I will stay in while traveling for work in Rotorua, great rooms and great price. I have already booked my third stay for the end of September.

The staff took care of those issues for me, so nothing to complain about.

Everything went well. The staff and the manager Vincent were all courteous and helpful. The room was very clean, the carpet and furnishing etc seemed to be quite new and very cosy and comfortable. Location was good as Woolworths was very close by. We really enjoyed our short stay and will consider staying there again in the very near future

Location and cleanliness of room. Adequate parking. Very close to all the local restaurants and shopping centers.

Room facilities could do with a make-over. The Tourist Guide to Rotorua was dated 2016-2017.... most of the restaurants listed closed years ago. Sky TV channels only covered Sport and Al Jazeera.. would be good to see another International News Channel.

Jyoti was an amazing host who immediately set the tone for how our stay in Rotorua was . We had special requests for our stay and she didn’t fail to disappoint. The room was nice and tidy and had a jacuzzi in it which was a bonus. Very very central so getting around Rotorua was easy as you could walk to basically everything in the city centre. Would definitely recommend staying at BKS as it was good value for money and the staff were very helpful and hospitable Thank you again Jyoti!
