Golden Glow Motel

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Golden Glow Motel. I have been coming to this same motel for over 5 years now and am never disappointed. I am always well taken care of and if any problems arise, they are instantly sorted with no difficulties. I want to say thank you to Sharon and Martin for making my stay this time round much better. Looking forward to staying here for many more years. For anyone who is travelling to Rotorua soon, I strongly suggest you stay at the Golden Glow Motel.

The spa was nice, the room catered to our needs, the room was also nice and warm when we arrived. Location is so convenient, supermarkets across the road, town and amenities all in walking distance.

Our room was a little out dated, our parking spot was under construction, so we parked on an angle, no drama though as I think that room owns the two parks I was on. Don't expect great views on the ground level either.

Property is in a good location to the town. It’s got the basics you need for a couple nights stay, spa baths were a hit with our kids they loved it so much. Also the beds were super comfy and access to sky was a bonus too!

The carpets are poorly stained and not many chairs to the table we had so we couldn’t eat on the table but other then that it was fine.

probably, some stuff like tissue rolls and towels can be kept in stock inside the room. though the tissue rolls were added next day, our room did not have enough towels the next day of the stay. We just had 1 for the room for 3 people.

We needed extra things like an early check-in and ironing board and the staff/owner was very friendly and helpful. Even offered an extra extra early check-in. The bed was clean and it was in a quiet location, the walls were thick and we did not hear other travelers.

Facilities are older, (but so am I!) Value for money.

This Motel is a nice little motel.The staff were very nice ,even though there wasn't enough things inside the room , it is close to everything . The rooms have a spa bath out the back which was awesome .The only fall back was that the wifi kept cutting off..

This motel was a nice little motel but did not have all the things in it for example toilet paper, cups ,glasses, plates ,

Staff friendly and helpful, looked good with new paint job, but cleanliness was lacking

It could do with a thorough clean, kitchen tap area grotty, carpets needed a vacuum, cutlery and crockery needed to be washed before using, Frypan put back in cupboard with grease from previous use

Close to town centre an fast food places, walking distance. Loved the kitchen. ( good size) an Spa bath nice an deep. Bed was very comfortable. Hosts were lovely an friendly.

Would say it just needs some new carpet, an the Cobb webs cleaned from the ceiling in the Spa area.
