JetPark Hotel Rotorua

Room & ensuite bathroom were both comfortable & well equipped. Great range of toiletries. Secure /plentiful parking. Lift up to our room (on 2nd floor). Staff friendly and courteous - must make mention of one, in particular - a member of the cleaning team, who sorted out a problem we had with our room's coffee machine, and brewed us our first cuppa. This task probably fell outside of her job description, but she tackled it with aplomb and good humour.

Would have appreciated a tea towel and cloth to dry cups and wipe down surface in coffee-making nook. Washing cups in bathroom basin is not ideal but I guess an additional sink is seen as an unnecessary/unwarranted cost to the business.

I booked 2 rooms - Superior twin room & Deluxe twin room. Both rooms were comfortable; superior was decent sized and deluxe is pretty spacious. Shampoo & conditioner along with body wash were available. Also very grateful for a/c after a long day in the sun. Staff are friendly.

Both rooms could use some better/more furniture. Bedside table in the deluxe twin rooms would be ideal for both sides of the bed. Also a table to dine on would be great. People also walk back and forth behind the “units” that are Deluxe twin rooms - wish they could’ve been part of the actual building instead of outside. Parking is also limited if you’re in a room to the front of building and they’re also very tight spaces. Housekeeping didn’t replace all towels

The facility was excellent, the room was large and well presented. I loved that I had a bathtub in my room. It was also in a great location and was easy to find. The room also had a pod coffee machine and a kettle.

The parking spaces were very snug, it was difficult to park and get baggage in and out of my car. The breakfast was only toast/cereal etc. no hot food. It was very difficult for someone with dietary requirements. I asked for gluten free toast and it was brought out from the back, but not well toasted. There were no signs to let me know that I could request gluten free, or signage on the foods offered in the buffet. I also ordered a "barista" coffee, that was definitely made with a push button machine.

Great location walking distance to amenities like supermarkets, shopping mall, restaurants and eateries. Room is comfortable and clean. The breakfast is good value and has a good spread. Enjoyed the pool and spa that was available for use.

We stayed in room 109 and the bathroom door doesn't close properly and is quite hard to open if you manage to close it. This room is at the end so you can hear the people in the next room if they're noisy.

Hotel had everything I needed and as In had no car its location close to town centre and opposite super market was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. In fact they were friendly to each other and seemed to enjoy working together. Reception bent over backwards to meet my needs.

just a little noisy with lots of young families staying and children running up and down but all quiet by bed time. Food and beverages could be available for later at night. Bar shut at 10pm

Rooms were clean, with modern decor. Beds were firm. They gave the kids little Christmas gift bags, which we didn't expect. Had Moccona coffee satchets and the kettle didn't have scaling. Wifi is good and strong, the best among all the hotels we stayed. They have a cute kids corner on 2nd floor. Stairs landing areas had exotic tropical wallpapers that we took photos with. The side door leading to the parking lots is very convenient for the unloading/loading of luggage as the elevator is just beside the side door. Staff is friendly. Convenient location, 5mins drive to city centre but you could also walk there in 15mins. Supermarket and liquor store opposite the hotel. Petrol station and McDonald's just 2 or 3 blocks down. If we ever go back to Rotorua, will stay here again.

Shower area only partially enclosed with fixed glass panel. After shower, area outside the area would be partially wet. Dryer for guests had rusty patches in the drum.

Family suite was spacious. Walking distance to so many shops and close drive to tourist activities. Room service staff were wonderful! Free breakfast was included in our booking.

The unclear communication between booking.com and the hotel. The room was different to the one we viewed and booked online. We had to show the hotel staff what we had booked and were promptly changed to the correct suite.

Good location - close enough to walk to the CBD and local attractions. There is a large supermarket across the road to pick up supplies. On a major street in Rotorua so finding Jetpark was easy.

One night we couldn't park inside the compound as all the parks were taken meaning we had to park on the street. Booking said off street parking was available.

Location and ease of check in/out. Room was clean and easy to get to.

Parking is not the greatest with a big vehicle. First come, first served type of situation but bigger cars can quickly block up access. Brilliant that you can access car park two ways though. Our tv and phone didn't work initially but we got it sorted. Prior guests must have unplugged everything in the room. Hotel is a lot different to the Auckland branch in terms of being modern but friendly staff made up for this.

-Loved how close it was to the mall, and places to eat. No need to drive. - shower was nice -bed was comfortable -air con was great - nice size room - breakfast was nice, simple food. Pancake maker is a great touch.

- The pool was good, but my 4 year old had to stay on steps, there was no shallow end which isint good for kids. - way to much light shines through the curtains at night time from ghe lights outside. Had to put towels ontop of the curtains to stop light. - there were a few toys and mess left from previous people staying there, found just under the bed.
