Arran Motel

The room was clean and so was the bathroom, with spacious shower. The bathroom supplies (shampoo, body wash, etc.) were good quality and towels were changed daily. There was a glass of milk in the fridge for making coffee in the room (instant coffee and selection of teas also provided). The dedicated parking spot was great to have. The staff running/cleaning the property were great and helpful, with welcoming attitude and big smile (even provided us with extra cookies and laundry detergent for free).

Small annoyances, like bathroom mirror mounted on the side of the sink (while there was window in front of it) - shaving in a side mirror was not very comfortable, or tiny garbage cans... Dish washing liquid would have been helpful too if it was supplied.

Great stay, convinient sleeping, friendly staff and housekeeping. The room has a good size, the bathroom is good, the beds are perfect for a relaxing sleep. The amendments for breakfast are as expected, so having a coffee, toast and whatever you purchase on the toast was very sufficient for me. The town is within short walking distance and I will return again

I used the laundry, which was first occupied for washing bedware from the Hotel, so I had to wait. Nothing major

Exceptional property, would have loved to stay for longer. Very clean and well catered for, excellent location, central but not too close to the village which was a short walk along the lake, where you could find nice restaurants. Lake Te Anau is very worth a visit, close to Milford Sound, which is very worth the visit, Just make sure you stay more than 2 days and stay at The Arran.

Absolutely nothing.

Friendly welcome and sunny aspect. Within easy walking distance of town - and a safe route down to the Lake and back. We only heeded one night prior to our Doybtful Sound cruise, and the unit snd proximity to Msnspouri were ideal. This was my first trip away from home following g major djoulder durgeru, snd I was anxious about not sleeping in my own bed...o need not have worried, theved snd set ices were excellent.

There was nothing to fault.

The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, room cleaning service did an excellent job. The location was very convenient for us to access restaurants and the town center.

I prefer if we had a room airconditioning system for cooling because during our stay the temperature went up to 25-28C degrees, so room temperature was high until night time,

Te Anau is a great place to stay for visiting Milford Sound. we stayed 2 nights. one road back from the lake. Warm comfortable clean room. Bathroom ok. Fridge and crockery etc was everything we needed to make our own breakfast. Big supermarket and nice places to eat in town. Very friendly staff.

Everything at the property was fine. All the restaurants in town were really busy so I would advise either eating early or book a table.

Everything was perfect. Spotless clean. Loved that we didn't have to clean used dishes in the bathroom sink and got them replaced with clean ones every day, which is much more hygienic. Little communal Bbq area to sit outside. Walking distance to town (ca.10=15 min). Would definitely book again.

Quaint and comfortable. Host was pleasant and helpful providing information on local activities. The property might be a little dated in decor but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Shower worked a treat. I would stay again especially as we also got an upgraded room. Thanks Mel and Mark.

Perhaps a couple of side lights/table lamps would create a more ambient feeling in the evenings.

Unfortunately the shower beeing a curtain around taps and drain splashes everywhere around the sink so flòor gets very wet and stays wet

the lady sent me to a public toilet 10 min away just because it was not my time to check in, even having my room already free. I mean, I didn’t asked for an earlier check in, just for being able to use any toilet at the hotel… 😳
