Comfortable clean cabin with great facilities. Just a short distance from the airport, ferries, and all the superb foodie places in Petone. Some terrific walks in the nearby hills and along the beach and Heretaunga/ Hutt River I self catered successfully and adored being able to snip from small plots of herbs dotted around the park. The cleaning staff were friendly, thorough, and considerate . I appreciated the comprehensive recycling system in place, too.

Access roadways a little potholed; Needs signs to not feed the local ducks - several ducklings had leg issues likely due to eating processed food, which affects their bone development.

Awesome playground and showers, comfy beds, had everything we needed in the little kitchenette. Thankfully there was also linen provided, I thought there wasnt which would have been a big annoyance as I was catching a flight back to Akl after

Could not get the TV to work for the life of me. Netflix kept erroring, no other apps seemed loaded, and I couldnt seem to cast to the tv either. Secondly, it is quite open and the walls are thin, so dont expect quiet until quite late at night

Park grounds are lovely, lots of trees and open spaces. Lovely outlook of the surrounding mountains. Great playground and bouncy pillow for the kids. Room was spacious and clean though a little dated. Loved the comfy bed and pillows.

Note, Location is 20 mins out of Wellington CBD. Suited us as we had a hire car, otherwise there's a train straight to the city. There's no pool (personal preference). "Spa" is in a tiny wooden shed tucked in a corner and not very appealing.

The bed! It's s up there with the comfort of four star hotels. The cabin was booked at short notice due to a family death. Campgrounds arent my first choice to book a stay however I would definitely stay here again. Its clean, quiet even when booked out and is close enough to amenities. The camp ducks are rather brave.

There were no USB charging sockets (that I could see)

Big open and spacious bathrooms and clean tidy communal kitchen. The game room was the biggest highlight. Rooms were comfortable and warm. Quite awe on how spacious the whole area is. Primo Staff were very lovely and always greeted us with a smile and checking in on how our stay is going every time we crossed paths.

Booked two rooms, didn't realize they were far apart but it's minor, worked well overall.

Location was perfect for us, and the room was nice and cozy. There was a heater too, which was great to turn on for half hour before bed just to take the evening chill off.

Bed is very soft. Not good for back issues. Also the stove there is no way of telling if it's on or not, light not working on the stove so it was a gamble to work out if it was turned off or will it stay on. We only spent half hour in cabin for dinner before rushing out again, to quickly made dinner. So that was quite stressful not knowing if stove is turned off or not. Also the switch on the wall had no sign on it that's it's stove switch, we had to call after hours to find out about that. Also the kitchen sink drain had a small leak, so the water leaks into the cabinet under the sink.

For starters, despite the fact that we had to give very late notice to request a change in dates due to our son's surgery being postponed at the last minute, they very kindly let us change our dates to the new date for his surgery. They were under no obligation to do so, but it was very much appreciated.Then, we got there and were delighted at how comfortable and secure the facilities were. As an added bonus, the shower was lovely - great water pressure. Lots handy to the place too - fun activities a short walk away like junglerama.

Not much to dislike!

The facilities look very clean, and everything is well taken care of, staff was friendly and helpful. The reception room was beautifully decorated for Xmas and has nice activities for little ones. It was quite and nice to sleep at night in our cabin.

It would have been nice if the Cabins had at least a toilet. But it's not a big deal.

We arranged for late check-in,we drove from Hamilton and it's very easy and clear information.

You gave your rules that parties are not allowed but our last nite in the motel there were 2 parties other one at the caravan area, the other one behind us. Units are not sound proof. Thanks to the ladies who do cleaning for giving us on time the electric kettle, which I reported at reception on our 1st day. Overall it was good Thanks
