Pine House - Faro Airport, Beach and City Center0

Great convenient location to airport (but quite far from Faro town, no problem if you have a car). 15 minutes flat walk to the Airport. Was able to drop our rental car off nearby as well then catch provided shuttle to the airport and walk back from there to The Pine House. Well equipped kitchen. Good sized, clean room. Shared bathrooms clean and tidy.

No contact person on premises. I received a pin code via Booking.Com to open a key box located outsidebtheventry door. Worked well after we realized we needed to check the message from the owner on the Booking.Com app. There was no toilet paper in the toilets on the first day. Some maintenance should have been dealt with better such as some defective light bulbs in bathroom and some of the fixtures were broken or loose such as the tap on one of the bathroom basins and the kitchen sink. Air conditioner did not switch on in bedroom.

I liked to meet new people. The house is quite big with spacios living room and kitchen with all you might need, even coffee, tea, etc. They have a patio and also a rooftop. The room was very nice for the pricing. Is fairly close to the airport by car. I recommend to download Uber app and take Uber if you don't drive, the taxi drivers husle quite a lot. Isn't close to the beach, shopping centre or the supermarket so I recommend ones you take the Uber to the town try to buy some food since you can store it in the fridge and cook when need it. I will defenitely be back it was a nice experience and please make sure you thank the maid for her great job and kindness.

One of the days it was a lot of sand in the bathroom because some people came from the beach without cleaning themselves from the beach to the hotel. I didn't like that there's are a lot of big dogs around the area since I am scare. I didn't like how much the taxi drivers or the restaurants were charging, I think the city is nice but a bit overrated and very expensive for what it is, Barcelona is way cheaper and nicer. Obviously none of this is the hotel fault.

Great location in walking distance (~15 Min) to the airport terminal, but still in a very nice and quiet upscale neighbourhood. Since it's positioned perpendiculally off the direction of the incoming and outgoing planes, it was even quieter than the actual centre of Faro. The house is all really high quality inside, wooden floors, great beds and a really nice common area, garden and rooftop terrace. Smooth checkin. I can really recommend the place if you are flying in or out of Faro (especially if its on a late arrival or an early departure) and look for a place to spend the first or last one or two nights to explore Faro and the surroundings.

Everything was great. I especially enjoyed the indoor and outdoor communal spaces. These spaces were fabulous for guests to chat and shared travel stories.

1. Please do not overuse cleaning products with artificial scents. Some people, like myself, are sensitive to these fragrances. Please look for natural and scent free cleaning products. I know many of these products can be made at very little cost with household ingredients. 2. Provide a list of nearby sights such as, restaurants, cafes, shops, and attractions marked with directions and distances. Some people, like myself, give up their cars because they are only staying one or two nights before their flights. 3. Provide some staples such as coffee filters or have a machine that doesn’t require a paper filter such as a moka pot. I bought coffee grounds, but couldn’t make any coffee because I didn’t have filters that fit the coffee machine provided.

5 min. drive/20 min. walk to the airport, so a perfect stay for an early flight. Wouldn't have expected such a beautiful house + surroundings so close to the airport. Easy check-in and check-out with all information needed, beautiful common area and a big kitchen. Shared bathrooms were very clean. Easy + free parking in front of the house.

Room could've been a bit more colourful/cosy (especially compared to the beautiful common area). I could feel the bed wiring, which was a bit uncomfortable. Bed linnen were comfy though.

I had always wanted to stay in one of these houses. I like the location and the house itself was very nice. The room was good and we got a very good deal with my genius discount. You can walk to Ludo or the beach or the golf course but equally you can get a bus. The house is not far from the airport. We had a very comfortable stay. There is a roof terrace and a nice garden too. Good restaurant (Sitio dos Presuntos) not far away too in Quinta do Eucaliptos. Pingo Doce walking distance too. Communication with the property was good, quite prompt.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation.

This guesthouse is perfect if you've got a very late or very early flight and want to stay by the airport instead of travelling. It's on a very quiet street just 5mins in an uber from the airport, also possible to walk easily. Lovely comfortable guesthouse with large well equipped kitchen & clean modern bathrooms. Clean and comfortable with automatic check in(you're sent a code the day before to access the key box).

Can't think of a negative, it's perfect for it's purpose.

This was a perfect location for a short stay. We needed a clean place to shower and sleep after a late arrival at Faro Airport. It was comfortable, clean and easy to find,even walking from the airport at night.

We weren't completely sure what food was available for us to eat. We didn't want to take anything that belonged to other guests. We took a piece of bread and a piece of cheese early the next morning, which was perfect for our walk to the Faro train station.

The house and apartment itself are very cozy. The location is fantastic, especially if you have an early morning flight. It is about a 15 - 20 min walk to the airport. The bathroom, kitchen, and all common areas were clean.

Actually, we were about to write a 10 out of 10-star review, but right before we left we had seen a huge cockroach in the sink. I hope that owner will take care of it :) Otherwise, the apartment, location, etc. is amazing.

A perfect place to stay while exploring Faro! The beach, nature reserve, Airport, a shopping centre and even a local restaurant is within a walking distance. The communal area is very spacious, but we didn't get to use it a lot, as we mainly spent the time in the well looked after garden/ terrace. Everyone was really friendly and respectful and made our stay idyllic.

The fact that we couldn't stay here any longer!
