Melia Lisboa Oriente Hotel

I really liked the large and very comfortable room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room was not too hot or cold, and noise isolation was excellent. I only heard traffic when I had the window open. I picked this hotel for the proximity to Oriente station (and the airport), but the nearby river was a nice added bonus. Ample hot water and good quality shower products. Having an armchair in the room made me choose this hotel over another nearby hotel, and I'm glad I did. The breakfast room was nice and big so I never felt crowded or rushed.

Nothing I would mark the hotel down on, but I did have the housekeeping parked outside my room one day, which caused a bit of noise for a while. This is part of staying in a hotel though. The complimentary snack on arrival wasn't really to my liking. Maybe the hotel could have an option of asking guests if they would like one or not prior to arrival to avoid potential waste?

Hotel is localised perfectly: close to the Oriente station, Lisboa Oceanarium and the airport (~3 km). You can get from here in each place in the Portugal capitol and other places of the country. Personnel is wonderful - I needed check out early at 4 a.m. and they gave me the small repast to the room. A room was very clean, big, comfortable with amazing view on the sea. Wi-Fi was ok. I recommend this place.

Convenient location. Walking distance to the metro station of Oriente, a bus station of many lines such as 728 which leads straight to the downtown and tourist spots, a big shopping mall, the aquarium and the pavilion. Considerate service. Provided detailed information when we asked our way to somewhere. Prepared sweet gifts for my colleague who was on her birthday. Nice food at the breakfast. Most importantly, AMAZING STAFFS. Especially those who work at the reception! I lost my baggage at the airport on my first day in Lisbon. The staffs at the reception helped me to contact the lost&found and other concerned department of the airport, and also gave me many useful information and suggestion. Luckily I got my baggage back at the airport on the day I left Lisbon. But even if I didn't, I'm sure those kind staffs would contact me and help to send my baggage back once they received it from the airport. Thank you guys so much for your help!

Hotels in China usually offer unlimited mineral water for free. Maybe you could work on this?

Second time in this hotel, after 2 days earlier last week. We felt welcome and enjoyed the quality of the room, the silence in the room, the view from our 12th-floor located room, and - this time - a comfy bed. The staff is very helpful and friendly. As parking has restricted times on this street it was easy to find a space to check in. I loved the location in the neat and pretty former Expo environment. Free PCs are available on the first floor, to do your plane check-in and other reservations. Reception called a taxi at check-out (8:45), and it arrived within minutes.

One issue to arrange is the breakfast space. It was very busy at the time we went (7:45) - there was enough food and good choices. But my favorite tea was gone, and the seats we were sitting on, just outside the breakfast area, were wet.

Perfect location right next to the train station for easy access to the rest of the city, helpful staff, delicious breakfast, and gorgeous view of the city and water from the room.

The bed was a bit hard

During my recent stay at Hotel Meliá Lisboa Oriente, I was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. The hotel's location is truly fantastic, situated in the vibrant area of Lisbon's Oriente, offering easy access to various attractions and transportation. The staff were incredibly welcoming and provided exceptional service throughout my visit. Their professionalism and eagerness to assist with any queries or requests made my stay all the more pleasant.

The breakfast area could use a bit of improvement. While the selection was decent, enhancing the variety of offerings and perhaps introducing some local specialties could elevate the breakfast experience. Additionally, ensuring the freshness and replenishment of items could further enhance the overall breakfast quality.

The facility is in immaculate condition with very spacious well appointed rooms! Location is perfect as a very short walk from Oriente Train Station and only about 10 mins can ride to the airport. Very close to the water and a number of restaurants on the promenade there! The staff were just phenomenal. Bernardo at checkin couldn’t do enough to help us and the girl in the AM found an appropriate size cab in short order. Would stay here again in a heart beat!

We weren’t a huge fan of the coffee at breakfast but everything else was excellent!
