Hotel DAH - Dom Afonso Henriques

Spacious room for 3, clean and quiet, equipped with a fridge and well functioning aircon easy to adjust. Excellent service and view to town at the rooftop bar. The staff paid constantly attention to our needs, food and drinks are inexpensive. The menu is small, but will satisfy your hunger and the quality is fine. Its not in walking distance from the city centre, but the price and the facilities/service made it worth the choise.

The ventilation in the bathroom couldn't absorbe damp from 3 showers. One bed stood in front of the cupboard and made it almost impossible to use. Be aware that there is a 500 m walk uphill from the metro station Alameda.

Nice breakfast, comfy room. They were so cute and left me a note to have a nice stay, there was a bottle of water, chocolates and wine when I arrived . 24 h reception

Not great location, from Alameda metro you have go up the very steep hill for about 10 min, other metro Olaias is also about 12 min walk, it was raining so not very nice (thought was closer looking at google maps). Entrance to the hotel is stairs so have to carry luggage

Room was much bigger than we expected, the bed was comfy and the breakfast absolutely exceeded expectations for this price level! Everything was very clean all the time, they cleand our bathroom and changed towels daily. The reception is open 24h and the staff was nice. The shower is clean and big. The toilet ran out of water once but was very quickly fixed so I consider that a plus for the team.

We didn't really mind but the wardrobe was unusable because of the intense bad smell. The toilet seat wasn't a good fit for the bowl shape so the lid kept closing even when someone is sitting on the toilet but we considered it a minor inconvenience. The toiletries don't include hair conditioner so be sure to bring your own.

The staff were very friendly upon arrival and also checkout. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags in free of charge. We only stayed for one night at the property yet found the bed very comfortable, linen was soft and room was clean. Air con worked well, we had a small balcony and the shower was good. Hotel provides some toiletries as well. Great value for money and just what we needed. The staff were more than willing to help suggestions for around the city however we had visited Lisbon before so we were ok for this!

We checked in late as our flight arrived at night, it was close to the airport which was convenient and the check in and check out process was quick and easy. It was a short stay before we leave early on the next day, but the staff was very polite and managed to accommodate our small demands (cutlery, glasses, extra towel). Room is simple, but really efficient and comfortable.

We were arriving from a long travel, which means a lot of luggage, so the room got a bit crowded. There is a small desk/dresser in the room, but it would be better if it were a little bigger, specially as we had to eat there as there was not a lot o restaurants open that late at night.

Nice spacey room. Location was not far from the metro, close to two stations on the red line. Close to the airport (only 15 minutes away on the red line). The other station is maybe 10-15 minutes of walking, but connects directly to a line going to the old city center. Location was thus very handy. Breakfast was good, with a lot of variation, ranging from fruits to veggies and all in between. Staff was friendly and helpful in dealing with my complicated invoices.

The rooms offered tea, but some coffee would have been nice.

We liked the facilities and it is good location for the transport so you don’t need to stay in the central. very good price for money and the staff were really lovely. the terrace is really nice to go to especially for sunset. if I was to come to Lisbon again I would return to this hotel for sure!

i have no dislikes about the property!

The hotel is situated in a working class neighborhood. Not far from the Metro. Most of the eating places are simple snack bars, but we found some with good toasts. Not far from the local covered market. The market was closed, but several nice coffee shops were open. The layout of the room was nice. Parking is secure and easy to access. Breakfast was nice. This is not a fancy hotel, but simple and in a simple neighborhood. It gave us a good quiet base to explore Lisbon.

we were a bit worried on arrival as the property seemed a bit remote But actually it was perfect away from the main city yet only a ten minute walk to a metro station which served us well getting into the heart of the city in about 15 minutes. Plenty of cheap restaurants within a ten minute walk too. Breakfast was perfect too

Staff was very friendly, the room was spacious, the bed was huge, the little balcony was cute and brought a fresh touch to the room, even if the view wasn't the greatest and overall my short stay was very enjoyable, specially with the gardens and the 20th century fountain just a few steps away, where my girlfriend and I enjoyed the nice stroll. I also really enjoyed the modernity of the key card, I'm used to guest houses and b&bs but fitting the card in the room to turn on the lights was actually really fun.
